ITT: Childhood kino
I couldn't watch 5 minutes of the remake but this movie holds a special nostalgia for me. The comfy coastal setting, the musical numbers, Mickey Rooney, Doc Terminus. All in all a severely underrated Disney film.
I remember getting like 2 or 3 of the action figures for this movie. wish I still had those.
what the fuck does 'kino' even mean? because I know it doesn't mean 'good' or 'quality'
Matilda was basically The Wizard of Oz part deux for me
I have the nes game. It has nice music.

why even live
I thought I'd imagined this since I could only find the terrible live-action adaptation anywhere, though I could vividly remember a stop-motion Toad swallowing a moustache.
comfy show set in the English country side
this
remake when?
Some of the shit on this show were nightmare fuel for a poor lad watching 90s disney channel
I remember that story about how a British school in 2016 tried to show this to elementary schoolers but they couldn't even comprehend it. Apparently the references to religion and english culture are so foreign for them they don't even understand it
