I think I am. I’m okay during the day but when I come home at night the only thing I want to do is stab myself in the throat to bleed out. I keep going to the gym after work to try and exhaust these thoughts away but it dosen’t always work

If it was your psychologist, then yes. If it was your GP... they generally would never do that unless you had a concern about your genitals, then they would check.
