So, is it pretty much confirmed that Steve Rogers will wield Thor's hammer in Endgame after 'proving himself worthy'?

ok

no, it was just a silly moment, it wasn't a setup for anything, just move on

But what if it is? feels like an odd inclusion.

not that odd, it just shows that Cap is almost worthy but still has human flaws
the actual setup of that scene was Vision lifting the hammer at the end of the movie

Yeah, Tony will find autistically pick up every last piece of it, reforge it and then Steve will wield it. My dad works for Disney and told me about it.

no but leaks confirmed that marvel wields it and there's some stupid fucking quip that thor makes to captain america about it

Regardless I feel it's too obvious not to be in Endgame, they need big moments but they wouldn't actually rely on showing Thanos throwing another moon, or 10 moons, or another battle consisting of waves of indistinct fodder. The hook of this movie won't be the grand spectacle of a load of people punching Thanos but the low level fanboy crossover/what ifs that are popular in the comics. And because there's probably be a reset at the end of it, they'll just any old dumb shit, steve rogers is out at the end of this one anyway in some shape or form/.

No, because Mjölnir dosen't exist anymore, why can't brainlets pay attention for 2 hours?

Trash. Who the fuck cares

Time travel is obviously at work throughout the movie and besides it could quite easily be the new hammer

The hammer is gone. Anyone could wield the axe, but only Thor can use to amplify his thunder powers.

how do we know this specific lore for Stormbreaker?

nah Captain Marvel will do it instead

> it could quite easily be the new hammer

Which is an axe...
Again, why can't brainlets pay attention for 2 hours?

this
captain toe fungus>captain america

it would actually be considered a war hammer, I should know; I have a PhD in Historical Weaponry

There is no lore for the movie, it's just a new weapon without Odin's enchants.

If there was ever a time for full fanboy pandering, Endgame is the time to do it. I expect:

>Cap holding Mjolnir
>Cap says "Avengers Assemble!"
>Avengers theme plays when everyone gets revived and fight Thanos

marvelcinematicuniverse.fandom.com/wiki/Stormbreaker

>Stormbreaker is an enchanted axe
>enchanted axe
>...axe

Should have got a PhD in reading.

That would be cool as fuck

That's a fair point, I guess the 'lore' might actually be Thor saying if you wield one of these weapons your mind will crumble in on itself ect etc in Infinity War

trusting a .fandom.wikia or trusting a doctorem philosophiae? Tough choice...

Thats right kids, just blast mega steroids and you can also become worthy
