Wut
Literally WHAT were they thinking? This movie doesn't look terrible but holy fucking shit how could you take it seriously after this?
I hate this a lot but I also really like it
Thanks I hate it
kinography
Imagine this scene with almost any other piece of music instead. Some ballsy metal or hard rock anthem, something you could imagine pirates actually singing, instead of a literal emokid dirge with no tune. Holy fucking hell what a mis-step.
it's so fucking dumb in practice but I really like the idea of an edgy kid from the 90s being taken away to Neverland and eventually becoming the pirate king, and that song being the only thing he retains from his old life and world
it's still dumb though
>jumpscare is the scariest scene in an Exorcist movie
Hugh attempts to save it at least
it's a damn good jumpscare though, the thing taht really creeps me out about it though is knowing that Jeffrey Dahmer was obsessed with this movie and would watch it before going out to pick up victims and would then show it to them before he killed them, because he liked the way it made him feel evil and powerful

Holy fucking fuck you, a white nazi gang robs the poor innocent black character? Yeah, fuck off.
cringe
>spoilers for a movie released before our parents were born
Wow thanks user!
The fact Cruise calls them "homies" shows that they were a black gang in the script, this is some pozzed woke casting.
This but unironically. As if everyone has seen every movie ever made. Who cares when it came out or if it's a classic, it could still be a spoiler to someone.
You're welcome.

Prime Rachel Weisz
If you haven't seen the Third Man then you're not going to. It's a must-see for anyone into noir, and irrelevant for anyone else.

that's silly. As it happens I have seen this particular movie, but there are so many must-sees from so many different genres that I simply haven't gotten around to a lot of them (same with books, tv, games). I don't know why it's so controversial to be a little considerate.
Very good post
unironically this
dude what's up? why are you so upset?
never forget
I wonder how much money went into this scene alone
it probably enough to save a lot of human lives
man i love this song

yeah, what is mere money when people can cringe at this for ethernity

everyone of all races enjoys that shit. just the sight gags and the acting work so well.

when is absurdist, non-parody spoof comedy going to make a comeback? there has never been a bigger audience or more material to work with

I don't have a good eye for this stuff. What were you thinking of?

Exactly the opposite of what I said. Nice reading comprehension, retard.
I mean the place that popular comedy is at today, I feel like more people appreciate more absurd comedy than ever before
>brainlet lashes in anguish
Id kill to see more of it for sure. I don't know anything outside of the naked gun or airplane movies though.
Ricky Bobby, Anchor man, kind of had that. problem is everyone is layered in irony and dark humor these days
>no u
Still have yet to receive a response to my argument.
anchor man, ricky bobby, Eric Andre show. There's alot of it out there

it's name is Talladega Nights GOD DAMNIT
Scary Movie killed the genre by bringing gangs in audience who shot up people during the movie.
the Will Ferrell movies and other big name ones are good examples, but there aren't many movies around today that are as fast hitting and reality bending I suppose you'd call it as the Leslie Nielsen films, although Walk Hard comes to mind
I think the thing that does it for the Nielsen films is the way it's both played straight, and the way it's clearly presented to the audience non-digeticly, things like that clip the first user posted of him pulling his wallet out, stuff that's obviously presented to only the audience and everyone in the film brushes over it, I'd like to see more movie built entirely around that real presentation comedy
Classic shit

These movies are actually masterpieces compared to the new ones.
Ah i see you’re a Spritual Tasha Mama fan also
The first season is really the only one worth watching
I disagree, I think up to and including season 4 is all good, it's after that that it all goes down hill
Guess I know how I'm going to spend my afternoon
Pure kino at it's finest.
