>listen to Yea Forums stupid meme saying pic related is sjw trash >it's actually the best comic related movie produced since The Dark Knight, literally 10/10 masterpiece in any aspect
Fuck, this is the last time I listen to ths shitty board. I'm out of here. Fuck you all.
You're not wrong, but it is SJW. Black man white woman. Neither Gwen nor Peter react at all to seeing their lost love alive because the central character is Miles Morales so everything has to revolve around him. It's especially dumb because the mass market KNOWS Gwen Stacy was Peter Parker's girlfriend after she appeared in the last 3 live action Spiderman films before the MCU one, so it's not even as if they could sneak it past everyone except the true comic geeks. No, Gwen is for Miles now, because black on white.
Other than that, it's good.

Anyone who's been on Yea Forums for more than half a minute can tell that this place is shit. Instead of blaming Yea Forums, blame yourself for being dump enough to listen to what anyone on this board has to say.
This includes this message.
Anthony Adams
I loved the movie and was floored to see how much of Yea Forums assumed it had some nefarious plot due to Miles being black/puerto rican. I genuinely believed this board was mostly above the bullshit and could like a movie for its own sake, but the radicalization that's affected fat dykes into calling everything toxic has had a similar effect throughout Yea Forums.
There's this faggot, for example.

>it's actually the best comic related movie produced since The Dark Knight Iron Man trilogy Kick Ass Deadpool 1 & 2 are all above average capeshit that far outweighs this janky ugly mess of a cartoon flick. If I've seen more I could probably post others but I can only handle so much of adults in Halloween costumes play fighting in front of a green screen.
Elijah Clark
Except that I'm right. How can you be OK with a Spiderman movie in which Peter Parker discovers Gwen Stacy - the woman he lost - is actually alive and well in another universe? And in her universe, she lost Peter the same way. Surely at least ONE scene of them being amazed to see each other. Nope, didn't touch it with a barge pole, and the reason for that was so that they could give Miles a young, white love interest because that's all they push now and you know it. You're probably just a cuck faggot who loves the thought of black bulls breeding his girl so you don't like it when people whose dicks actually work point it out.

>trilogy stopped reading there.
Connor Clark
>dump enough Is this the true power of discord trannies?
>Kick Ass Liked this one, really nice Iron Man 1 was good, but the next 2 are way below the spiderman movie. Deadpool were a bit mediocre and cringy but that's because I'm not american enough I guess.
Also you're the only one on earth to think that Iron Man 2 was above into the spiderverse
Benjamin Edwards
>You're not wrong, but it is SJW. Black man white woman. He friendzones her. You're retarded and havent watched it.
Lincoln Brooks
>being this concerned with tv relationships You seen the latest Young an the Restless, too you fucking nana?
Josiah Kelly
>Also you're the only one on earth to think that Iron Man 2 was above into the spiderverse Prime ScarJo, cheesy but cool villains with Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell, also has a couple of great fight scenes. It's a 7/10 for me.
Dominic Carter
I can be OK with it in the same vein I'm okay with an anime robot stomping about alongside a talking pig. The movie needs to balance its emotional heft against its humor and chose not to needlessly drag out the relationship between Gwen and Peter beyond what the two themselves individually discussed regarding it, especially seeing as such a conflict would be redundant in the presence of Peter struggling in the presence of a different MJ.
Does that make sense to you, you stupid fucking moron, or do you want to grip your dick and squeal about SJWs a bit further? Fucking faggot.
Anthony Johnson
>Neither Gwen nor Peter react at all to seeing their lost love alive
I think that's how it was in the comics. Plus they don't want a 40 year old man lusting over a teenager.
Jace Wood
Time for you to leave Yea Forumsmblr rat.
Josiah Ross
Yeah, HE friendzones HER, but the 2nd one he won't and obviously that's fine, if the black man has the option of the white girl he doesn't have to take it. What wouldn't have been acceptable is if Miles was into her and she wasn't because she felt too strongly for Peter.
Julian Evans
i thought it was impressive animation wise but ultimately its a paper thin plot with flashy fight scenes and a chubby 'im sacrificing myself, oh wait im not' peter parker spiderman gymnastics is easy entertainment everything else is forgettable
Liam Lee
>Yea Forumsmblr
I don't know what you're even trying to talk about, dipshit.
Brandon Russell
Literally no reason for Gwen to be a teenager either, other than so that Miles can fuck her in the 2nd film.
See you started reasonable and then you sperged out which kind of marks you out as a reddit bitch. I said I liked it, but it is SJW-y because of the racemixing.
Andrew Watson
>Literally no reason for Gwen to be a teenager either
but then she wouldn't be the cute girl everyone knows and loves
Easton Sanchez
It's a pretty mediocre flick, both Gwen and Miles being shit characters aside. It just looks good.
Samuel King
It's animation, as if she couldn't have still been drawn attractive but also older, more around Peter's age.
I understand why it was done because obviously if you're going to have an animated film about Miles Morales you can't spend half the time with Peter & Gwen breaking down over their loss but honestly, at least one scene when she first reveals herself and we see them talking would have been enough. Just introduce a love interest for Miles from his comics, presumably he has an MJ counterpart?
