This. Brosnan was the best mix of personalities up to that point in time. Goldeneye showed us how good he can be as Bond. The sequels just reinforced this fact because he alone can enhance a shitty script to being watchable thanks to him.

Also the problem with Daniel Craig is he started with CR and QoS which were modern films pushing Bond forward. Skyfall and Spectre for some reason ends up having a hard on for nostalgia, referencing other films. Craig should have quit after Quantum of Solace. 007 should be with us today, 2019.
