You have to imagine yourself in the shoes of a woman who was once a young, attractive actress cast for things strongly based on her looks. Sure, her acting ability (or in 's case, her """"presenting ability"""") has to be an element, but if she didn't look good, she was probably gonna lose the part to someone that did.
Women desire attention and validation based on their physical appearance enough as it is, imagine what that's like for someone literally cast as a Bond girl like Famke Janssen. And then imagine losing that which made people want to hang around you and give you attention. The funny thing is, though, is that a fair amount of these women have the capacity to age very gracefully (I'd say Christina Hendricks is one). They're never gonna be the starlet they once were, but at least they look like people. Absolutely nobody is gonna hire someone who looks Bogged.
