Boston Frasier > Seattle Frasier

Boston Frasier > Seattle Frasier

I really do hate Boston, but I agree with you OP

Balding-mullet Frasier > Tidy short hair Frasier

Boston Frasier was better because you didn't need much of his backstory. He's just looking for a place to escape his bitch wife.

Seattle Frasier is retarded. Nothing makes sense.

Boston can't be as bad as Seattle.
Does Boston have shanty towns?

worse, it has irish

but boston frasier was a cuck

Attached: frasierlaptop.jpg (539x416, 31K)

Boston itself is a poor Irish hellhole except for the ultra rich parts. But the coastal towns around Boston are nice.

Boston Frasier = wanting to hang with the working class guys in a working class bar (he would even get annoyed when the Cheers gang didn't page him when they were on some shenanigans)
Seattle Frasier = wanna be snob faggot who would never go to Cheers

Niles' influence made him more snooty. If you look at the early episodes of Frasier, he is very much like the Frasier in Cheers; the more he hangs with Niles over the years in Seattle, the more snooty he became.

Poor guy. Don't let women fuck you over like that. A psychiatrist should know better.

Perfect stocking stuffer.

His dad kept him grounded, though, and Niles was the best character in the show.

Anywhere anything>>>>>Seattle anything

Fuck that trash city

This.
Went there once to get on a cruise and I saw a Nigger shooting heroin in the middle of the street.

You can't compare 90s Seattle to current Seattle.

Frasier is a funnier show than Cheers. It just is.

I never watched Cheers but I love Frasier. Is it worth marathoning? I've seen short bits. Seems kinda dated

>Frasier is a funnier show than Cheers. It just is.
100% incorrect.
Cheers > Frasier
And Cheers was very good to great for 11 years.
Frasier started to fizzle around season 7

Seattle used to be great

I would go so far as to say Cheers wasn't even that funny.

Everywhere was better in the 90s

>I would go so far as to say Cheers wasn't even that funny.
Shittiest opinion I've ever seen.
Frasier was good, but most eps were the same
"Niles and Frasier try to get into high society club by hosting event at Niles/Frasier apartment only to wreck it with their own desire to appear high class"

Cheers is "dumb" humor done intelligently. Frasier is "smart" humor done intelligently. Definitely worth checking out (though it's largely much one-dimensional once Kirstie Alley's character becomes a primary focus), and you'll pick up on the lineage while watching. See if you can spot early prototypes for Frasier and Niles in one episode.

Even if a lot of episodes followed the same structure it was still fucking hilarious. Easily one of the greatest sitcom series of all time. Besides it beats "Sam and Diane sexual tension/relationship woes episode #1304". Also every episode was in that fucking bar what the fuck?

>Definitely worth checking out (though it's largely much one-dimensional once Kirstie Alley's character becomes a primary focus)
I disagree.
After Shelly Long left they had to bring in someone different and Rebecca was a great foil for Sam.
She was a corporate suck up who frequently failed horribly (this really couldn't be done today, she would be a stronk woman who always succeeds).

>Besides it beats "Sam and Diane sexual tension/relationship woes episode #1304"
But there were more Niles/Frasier want to move up eps than there were Sam/Diane eps (Diane was only there 5 years).
>Also every episode was in that fucking bar what the fuck?
Now you sound fucking retarded.

Oh I totally get why they chose to keep it at Cheers but it doesn't mean that drab setting didn't get tiresome after a season or two. Fuck Cheers. It wasn't that good.

Including ya mother's clam

>Oh I totally get why they chose to keep it at Cheers but it doesn't mean that drab setting didn't get tiresome after a season or two.
No it doesn't. The bar looked great and they shot it very well (and had Sam's office and the pool table room in the back).
>It wasn't that good.
Only to faggots like you. It's better than Frasier on almost every level.
Frasier just took the Frasier character and gave him a brother that was a more extreme brother than him.
Niles
>more snooty
>more prissy
>has a thinner, paler, more emotionally cold wife than Lilith was to Frasier
Frasier spent 99% of eps in Frasiers apartment or the radio station. How drab, right?

>She was a corporate suck up who frequently failed horribly

Yes, and every single interaction with Sam after her "boss bitch" thing was dropped devolved into her being a shrill, whining ham.

>Yes, and every single interaction with Sam after her "boss bitch" thing was dropped devolved into her being a shrill, whining ham.
That was a natural character evolution.
She lost control of the bar and just kept descending into a desperate woman in her mid 30s who failed at everything she wanted (career, finding rich husband).

Poorfag detected

None of that matters dood. It was funnier. I don't care if Niles is just a more snooty Frasier. The show was fucking funny and in the end that's all matters.

>It was funnier.
Incorrect. Cheers had a more diverse (in comedic terms) cast of characters that played off each other better. And the situations were funnier. Frasier was getting tired by season 6.
There's a reason why the Cheers finale was a big event and remembered and not a single soul remembers the Frasier finale and to this day don't give a shit about it.
Frasier was funny, yeah. Damn funny. But Cheers was on another level. It hit comedy from so many angles.
Frasier was just "rich bros want to hang out with rich people".

Brendan Fraser > Both of them

Attached: 800px-7.27.08BrendanFraser.jpg (800x966, 90K)

boston frasier needed the working class environment to escape his wife (and his bad family relations), it was therapeutical to him. seattle frasier was divorced and had a better relationship with his family so he was "healed" and no longer needed the company.

>boston frasier needed the working class environment to escape his wife
He was hanging out there after Diane left him/before he met Lilith.
The Cheers crew were fun bros and the bantz was tops.

Boston is depressing as shit and literally everyone hates their life, including me.

Can confirm. I lived there for 2 years for work and it sucked. New England suburbs are amazing, but fuck the cities.

CHICAGO FRASBO, BEST FRASBO

Cheers main cast power ranking:
1. Coach
2. NORM
3. Frasier
4. Al
5. Cliff
6. Sam
7. Lilith
8. Woody
9. Diane
>POWER GAP
100. Rebecca
>ULTIMATE POWER GAP
9999999999999. Carla

Amen to that, brother

I was going to tell you off for putting Woody so low, but then it dawned on me what such a strong cast Cheers had and it is honestly hard to place him precisely between 4 and 8.

partrician

Carla really was the worst. The funniest thing about her character is how she managed to get with so many decent looking guys despite her being an utter goblin.

So that's why there are near-daily Cheers threads and hardly anyone mentions Frasier.

>Frasier was just "rich bros want to hang out with rich people".
That's not true and you know it.

Goddamn, that's comfy
