Captain Marvel box office

>tv claims CM will do a Solo and tank in its opening weekend

The movie opens to a massive $153 million

>Yea Forums predicts that there will be massive 65% to 70% drop in it's second weekend

Drops merely 54%

International numbers are even more massive with potentially 750 million to even 800 million on cards. Over the movie is heading for a final worldwide gross of $1.2 billion.

Has Yea Forums ever been BTFO'd this hard by a movie before?

Meme is getting old. It was fun for awhile, but t's time to move on, user.

Yea Forums doesn't predict based on historical data and facts, but on a hunch, which of course is a bad method.
Once CM got A Cinemascore it was obvious it will have a regular MCU drop in the mid 50's.

54% drop is actually good even by MCU standards

Yes and? Stop watching capeshit or go to reddit if you wanna discuss this garbage.

>Has Yea Forums ever been BTFO'd this hard by a movie before?

only every marvel release

>Two months ago
>It won't even break $200M!

>This will be the lowest grossing MCU film since Ant-Man!

>I-it's only going to make roughly the same as every other standalone Marvel movie! Disney BTFO!

>Today
>Disney bought all the tickets! Muh marketing budget!

Admit your defeat and realize that a restoration of traditional values isn't going to be led by manchildren who waste their time rooting for comic book movies to fail

No shit it's still number 1. And it will be this Friday too because there's no competition at all. Captive State, Wonder Park, Five Feet Apart, and Us aren't going to beat a fucking Marvel movie.

The more people that see this shit movie, the better. It's not growing the Marvel audience.

Disney spent at the very least 100 million dollars. They got back half that and their stock remains strong so buying 20 th century stock using stock still is on the table.

Cringe but extremely redpilled.

>Yea Forums btfo

Not really. I for one said it would stink (Any user score system and social media supports this claim) and it would probably sell well considering its (((Marvel))) and it's being pushed so fucking hard by the media and celebrities.

I also said that if your over the age of 12 and care either way about a series of movies where the story is exactly the same where a person in spandex (this time it's a Lego block face bitch with the body like a crunchbar) chases after a magic shiny thing for almost 2 hours, then you might be a total loser.

So far I'm 100% right.

Why are you talking like a fat poo coloured pig from Vice?

On behalf of the white man I hereby renounce the draft rights to this vile "woman". She is free to sign with any race.

She looks like the kind of girl that has cysts in her ovaries anyway.

based

>Disney bought all the tickets! Muh marketing budget!

Many movie studios buy movie tickets in countries like China to boost foreign sales numbers and raise it up, this has been known, and is known right now, because the American dollar ends up being stronger then some other shit in the exchange, so Disney can spend $500 on tickets in India and it ends up being like $5000 or some horse shit.

Its just publicity, and Sony is well known for forging box office numbers, they did it with Ghost Busters.

>Being impressed that a movie sells tickets.
>In a world with 7+ billion people.
Wowy zowy.

Congratulations, it broke even.

Based and redpilled
