During the GOLDEN age she in fact had some better feats than golden age superman, it wasn't until the late very late GA and the start of the silver age that superman became clearly stronger, then she was extremely nerfed during the silver and bronze age. There were no real editorials back then, Wonder woman was victim of actual sexism in the JSA where she was nerfed.
