>"Sorry, I just hate racism SO MUCH I had to kill even if meant we would get killed ourselves"
Why does Tarantino always have to show how NOT RACIST he is?
"Sorry, I just hate racism SO MUCH I had to kill even if meant we would get killed ourselves"
Their whole complicated scheme really doesn't make any sense desu. If Schulz went up to Candy and just said "I heard you have a slave that speaks German, I'll pay a pretty good price for her" why wouldn't he have sold her to him? He didn't have any emotional attachment to her. I mean they gave you some throwaway line about how Candy wouldn't care about small amounts of money but that doesn't mean he'd object to it.
To offset how often he uses the N word unnecessarily in all his movies.
That's because they needed and escalation of the drama for this boring ass flick.
a) the movie clearly shows you that the character has a penchant for flair
b) the movie plainly tells you that candy is filthy rich, didn't need any money, and wouldn't give them the time of day unless they go close to him through something he enjoyed which was mandingo fights
Tarantino is black, so he can't be racist.
Tarantino is that wigger kid at your school who REALLY wants to be black.
This is such a cop out. Yes he's rich and yes he doesn't care all that much about money but it's not like he has any reason to say no just to spite Schultz. "Wouldn't give them the time of the day" - what does that even mean? All he has to do is say "yes".
Even he isn't involved at all with the day to day slave issues on the farm and doesn't want to, then he has someone else to do it for him.
tarantino's mommy got blacked and due to his exposure to that and porn, this is how he copes. he's also trying very hard to not be racist but obviously is.
What if he says No? what then?
>Why do characters have principles wahh wahh
Honestly the way this board talks about characters you'd think everyone has to be some perfect robot Gary Stu that does everything right and never makes a mistake ffs
Why didn't he just shake his hand?
This is still a problem with the movie but in the original script we're shown Candie actually cheating and killing to get Broomhilda for himself from another owner, just because he's such a narcissistic douche. So he might actually care just a little bit.
Thats a bingo!
Could happen but seems less likely than something going wrong with their way more elaborate plan.
hahaha based retard confidence
it means they wouldn't even get to ask because he wouldn't give them the time of day you retard
His plans don't make sense it is honestly part of his character. He did not need to go from dentist to bounty hunter, he simply enjoyed it. He also did not need to seemingly steal beer with a newly freed slave to get the sheriff to appear, then murder the sheriff, and then explain to the martial and the entire armed town why he did what he did. In fact it was pointed out as insane
>Promise me you won't shoot me in cold blood
>Like you did to our sheriff?
>Yes. Exactly!
Also its not simply the small amount of money, its the cost of transferring ownership of a slave to another person which required legal paper work that is tedious and cumbersome. Schultz was also being cheap, because going through the effort for a slave they clearly want badly would result in being over charged
So there is no way anyone has ever sold or bought slaves to/from him because he just sits in his chamber sniffing his own farts and doesn't allow anyone in regarding slave business?
I suppose then he would have a manager to take care of boring slave related issues, no?
And why the fuck did Waltz carry 12 grand in his pocket? That was like millions of dollars back then. And why did Samuel L Jackson pretend to be senile and with a limp like Keiser Soze? He was a house nigger - it's not like Candy would have made him work on the plantation otherwise. And in the world would a southern plantation nigger speak German? None of that shit made any sense.
Fuck Tarantino and the academy retards that gave him an oscar.
The racism merely bothered him, and it was more the humans being eaten by dogs and fighting to death than racism by itself.
He was literally an extremely petty sore loser, and could not help himself. He shot people he believed deserved it for a living, and Candy was one of them. But his immediate motive was not being able to accept losing and shaking Candy's hand
that was definitely the role he assumed around this movie, but god knows what the fuck he really is except a weird chameleon.
Probably got a stern talking to and been afraid of being put in dead nigger storage himself since Pulp Fiction released.
This makes sense
This makes sense aswell
>And why did Samuel L Jackson pretend to be senile and with a limp like Keiser Soze?
It was part of the act he and Calvin created. They're actually friends and Stephen pretty much runs the whole place, but saying it like that makes Calvin look like dirty ni**erlover (which he actually is since he has a black hostess and visits an interracial tavern with her (also only shown in the script mentioned here)). I'm sure Tarantino meant for some parallel between Django and Schultz putting on an act and Stephen and Calvin putting on an act, but I can't be bothered to think about it any deeper than that it might exist.
cope maxxing
Its commentary on black peoples role in slavery not simply being passive, but actually quite active
Both black characters in this case put on acts and pretend to be somewhat subservient helpers to their white counterpart. However they are actually driving the show. They also are shown more willing to get dirty in abusing other black people for what they want, and ironically are more extreme in how enforcing racial norms when it benefits them
Just shit eat, retard. Nobody cares except SJWs that characters in a movie set in the slave-owning South or in a criminal setting say mean words.
If anything, Tarantula directed a shitton of unironically strong female and black characters from Jackie Brown to Django but no one gives him credit for it, instead abnormally lexicon-sensitive public is trigger-happy to make a racist fuck out of the one of the most liberal directors working now.
Tarantula sides with blacks against the police? Fuck him, gangsters and plantators, unequivocally shown in bad light and mercilessly murdered by protagonists, say the word "nigger" 100+ times!
Honestly, how the fuck people like you don't even forget to breathe.
