I know a girl who looks like her, but with cute eyebags. Also, not as vain as most women today. She only posts cute photos on her insta like her dogs and farm animals and some of her drawings. Wtf, bros. I'm so lonely.

She's one of the most beautiful women of all time, but she's also just worse Julie Andrews.

How can eyebags be cute? Everyone thinks I'm an ugly psycho when I started getting eyebags.

It's cute because she's a total qt. It's ugly on you because you're probably ugly or average. Idk, man.

Wait Until Dark is very underrated.

well you better post the ig then

There's no such thing as a "good" actress. Everyone single actress in the industry is there because she played ball and spread her legs on the casting couch. No women is in Hollywood based on her talent...not her acting talent anyways. This has been true since 1909.

I'm just curious, do you have healthy relationships with any women in real life?

based
have sex

Yeah your mom LMAO

>lol no she wasn't
She was. Roman Holiday was a big hit and many young women during that time got short haircuts similar to the one Hepburn had in the movie.

trips of truth

I can only think of two things in which Julie Andrews clearly tops Audrey Hepburn:

1. Andrews has a marvelous singing voice
2. Andrews bared her breasts in SOB

I would respect you if you said "because I live in Bangladesh", but nigga, you are chosing that theme? lmao

He just has to find an anorexic girl with a wholesome hipster style.

Roman Holiday and Sabrina is the direct inspiration for every waifu wish-fulfillment bullshittery out of Japan, especially Roman Holiday.

What's wrong with it? It's a classic. I use it too on my win7 machine. But I'm mostly an applefag nowadays.

why do people in older movies act so unnaturally? very expressive but rather exalted acting that would not pass today i guess

Because originally film was seen as an extension of the stage, and on stage you have to be extra expressive because you're performing a very large crowd and you're on a comparitively tiny stage.

That said, I get very nostalgic watching old movies, even ones from before I was born, and part of the reason is that I love that over-the-top expressiveness of Audrey Hepburn, Cary Grant, Judy Garland, etc.

HNNNNnnngggg

was it also because people watched actors on stage from different angles? So actors had to be expressive to show emotions obvipusly even when their face was not visible at a certain angle

makes sense user, thx

I hate to break this to you but she wasn't even close to being the most popular of her era. She was neither a huge box office attraction nor did she get the kind of tabloid and media attention like Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, or Marilyn Monroe did. She almost had more box office flops in her career than she had hits.

She was definitely a leading actress of the time and admired for her style and acting, but not as popular as her peers.

its not unnatural its one long take with no jump cuts

>was it also because people watched actors on stage from different angles? So actors had to be expressive to show emotions obvipusly even when their face was not visible at a certain angle
Exactly. They had to project their voices as loudly as they could and use body language. I wouldn't say that Audrey Hepburn did that in all her movies, but that school of acting she and so many others of her generation subscribed to probably took cues from the stage. I guess I like it because it's kind of a heightened version of reality. It doesn't work for every film, but when it works it works.

Katharine Hepburn was a good actress. Audrey was twee and had no range.

user used ur mom lmao. It was super effective.

this, she was also considered strange looking at the time. it the was the decade of curves and blonde bombshells.

She's okay but she's no Brie Larson

Was she the first to start the glorious sticc trend?
