Shazam! is the quintessential light-hearted comic - he's Superman if he were even more wholesome and optimistic. I suspect this movie's going to be a breath of fresh air. From the trailers, it looks like they're using him and his roster to give us a normal person's point of view of their world, poking fun at some of the tropes with the wide-eyed wonder of children instead of jaded, cynical snark. That sounds like a good time to me.
