A) Everyone forgets the fucking Thespians, they were a thousand vs 2 million. And they weren't even elite warriors trained from birth.
B) They didn't win you imbecile. They died to a man.

Because it wasn't three hundred versus two million, it was nine thousand versus a hundred thousand at most. And they had an extremely defensible position. And they still lost.

Their goal was to die, so they actually won

based logic

They won in the sense that they stopped the Persians, that was their goal and they achieved it.

>2 million
Herodotus was a hack

Were they Orks?

But they didn't stop the Persians.

add to it 10k illots and 10k neighbors and you can succesfully bottleneck the pass for a week

A.) They had more than 300 men.
B.) They didn't.

they literally all die in the end, how is that stopping the persians?

they were white

wtf, I didn't know Parisians looked like that

>stopped the invaders
>then went to war with each other
yep they were europeans all right

name a better testosteronecore movie than 300

Map corning

Sparta wasn't conquered. That was Xerxes intention in the movie.
IRL their fierce opposition caused a ripple effect, leading the almost wholesale destruction of Xerxes's invading army, through Greek reinforcements, fatigue, and disease.

They were betrayed and outflanked. All they did was buy time.

The battle was lost. The war was won. But the war wasn't "300 Greeks VS 2 million Persions" and thus out of scope for this thread.

They really could have done some really cool stuff in 2 but they made some magical fairy land shit

I'll give you Commando, but the other three aren't as balls out retarded masculine as 300.

Why is it so easy to troll 4channel these days? I want to go back to 2006.

They had a fuckload of helot slaves with them

Sparta wasn’t conquered due to support from the entirety of the greek city-state system which formed an alliance

They had the high ground.
