I seed while I torrent but stop when it's done. The idea that you need to maintain a ratio retarded. There are people with seedboxes who are doing us all a service by keeping torrents alive forever. And the first people who upload the torrent are naturally going to have a huge upload ratio. Basically it's a race to see who can download new content first, even if you have no interest in watching the shit.

In the tracker I'm apart of I can keep a good ratio and dont need a seedbox. I can also delete torrents after 3 days. We arent required to seed to a certain ratio.

Most torrents out there are dead because nobody is seeding. Basic bitch normie shit will always be available for those reasons, but immediately pulling the plug after you get yours is shitty if it's something rare.

Yeah I have thousands of albums from thousands of bands and I in my entire life there was maybe less than 10 things I couldn't find, and that's because they were local bands who never officially released a real album. I've never not been able to find a movie.
