In present day yes, in 2008 he was one of the top 3 best stand ups in the world, but he's a huge nutcase and was only barely able to hide it, once Louis became such a hit he became arrogant as shit and thought of himself as some Auteur. He stopped going on O&A, he thought he was above and better than all other comedians, he thought he was going to be bigger than Seinfeld. His crash was oh so satisfying to watch.
