Someone get this straight for me. So upstanding Sean Bean not only knew Jon was Aegon Targaryen, he was aware that his sister was willingly engaged to Rhaegar, yet he supported Robert in his uprising. Once Robert was kill, he still knew Jon could be a legit heir, yet he supported Stannis.
Oh, btw everyone in the Citadel knew this too, even better they had written records of it, but refused to share because uprising and civil wars are fun.
It’s a show for the most retarded plebs out there. What do you expect?
Alexander Foster
I don't recall it being this retarded in the books though. But the final of s7 smelt like a major asspull
Dylan Cooper
No, he didn't, there's a chance benjen knew and that's why he took the black, but he didn't knew when the rebellion started, more importantly the rebellion started when the mad king asked for his and Robert's heads.
Robert Brooks
>he was aware that his sister was willingly engaged to Rhaegar He definitely wasn't, and even if he was he would have supported the rebellion anyway because Aerys killed his brother and father.
Nicholas King
p. sure the tower was taken near the rebellion's end
Lincoln Collins
>he was aware that his sister was willingly engaged to Rhaegar yet he supported Robert in his uprising. He didn't know that until the war was already over and the war was against the mad king, not against Rhaegar
>Once Robert was kill, he still knew Jon could be a legit heir, yet he supported Stannis. The Targs lost the throne, he had no intention of ever treating Jon like a Targ and Stannis was the rightful king
Andrew Lewis
Why is everyone on this board such a retarded sperg?
David Ramirez
>he was aware that his sister was willingly engaged to Rhaegar no he wasn't >Once Robert was kill, he still knew Jon could be a legit heir Jon had already joined the night's watch though, and it's not like Ned was going to reveal his true heritage to anyone, under any circumstances.
Dominic Turner
The answer is simple and consists of two words:
The Midichlorians.
Hunter Allen
Ned only found out about Lyanna and Rhaegar at the end of the rebellion after killing the kingsguard guarding lyanna and baby Jon. He found her dying and presenting him with a little targaryen shit. Also the mad king who everyone was tired of his shit killed his father and brother and called for his head but Jon Arryn said fuck it going to war.
It was in a private journel in the show and probably not yet transcribed as it was Sams duty to re write the work. But it seems Ned was scarred from war given his viewing of Arya training with Syrio and he has a panic attack. Also he didn't want another civil war against someone who was his brother and all the death it would cause. But inevitably it wasn't his right to take away Jons option of choosing his own destiny. At least making the choice aware of who he was , but allowed him to do so only aware that he was a hated bastard.
Jose Anderson
t. retarded faggot who is so braindead that he is unable to comprehend most basic of fantasy stories that is Game of thrones.
trying to install Jon on the throne would just have started the massive civil war that wound up happening anyway (for unrelated reasons). Crowning Stannis was the quick, logical choice to spare the realm a war. Everything else Ned did to make that happen was retadred tho
Julian Fisher
>He knew they got married Wrong >He supported Robert's rebellion TOJ was literally at the end of the Rebellion, every Targaryan was dead >Ned supported Stannis Right of conquest, Targs are not the ruling family >Jon could be a legit heir Took the black, Targaryans are not ruling family, as far as he knew Jon was Rhaegar's bastard >The Citadel knew eh?
