They're using blacks that can pull in an audience, and outside of whites in Hollywood, the actors that can do this while maintaining that not all the actors are white, are famous black actors especially since Hollywood's main competitors in film are Asians being Bollywood and films produced in China and Japan that go worldwide.

The writing is worse than you could ever imagine. Some of the most stilted awkward dialogue I have ever read in my life.
