An absolute must-see for anyone who professes to love action cinema.
I've been meaning to watch this for a while now. I might just start with the original one first.
Is it a remake/reboot/actual sequel?
Fortress (1992)
Dark Angel (1990)
No Escape (1994)
It's the 4th in a series of films
>the only thing you really need to know is that it's based on a film from 1992 about a group of soldiers who died in Vietnam but were "resurrected" as super-soldiers with suppressed memories
youtube.com

This was pretty good TeeBeeH.
King of New York wasn't really an "action" movie but had some definitely cool action scenes and doesn't get nearly the recognition of similar movies like Scarface.
Nobody rides for free motherfuckerrrrr!
>King of New York
Really underrated movie.
youtube.com
ricochet (1991)
the rookie (1990)
cliffhanger (1993) (not THAT hidden but definitely underseen)
eastern condors (1987)

>Freejack (1992)
love this one. very underrated cyberpunk. great cast.
>The 6th Day (2000)
i was shocked how good this is for a later schwarzenegger flick, and for a pg-13 one too.
>King of New York

>Point Break (1991)
Extremely overrated and definitely not forgotten
This is actually his best movie but never gets noticed much. I watched it in the theatre.
One of my favorites as a kid. Pure 90’s sci-fi/action JCVD kino.
Nice thread.
this has to be bait
i always think of this as not the best van damme movie but definitely the best movie van damme is in.
>You'll never have a 90's Patrick Stewart playing Blofeld in Bronsan's Bond era.
>Das Millionenspiel
German Running Man?
How much better is it than the actual Running Man, which I didn't really enjoy at all.
Well said. I prefer Bloodsport for pure Van Dammage, but Timecop has no right to be so good.
I've seen c beams and shit, a
Wang.

>but Timecop has no right to be so good.
i hope one day it gets the respect something like robocop gets now
>I prefer Bloodsport for pure Van Dammage,
i'm that asshole contrarian that prefers kickboxer. van damme and tong po beating the shit outta each other with fists covered in glass while the spectators chant NUK SOO KOW. i just go fucking nuts.
I was not a fan of Running Man the first time I saw it, but then it grew on me. As for the German TV movie, I've haven't seen it. youtube.com
This shit is more convoluted than the X-Men and Halloween timelines but
US1, Regeneration, Day Of Reckoning
Regeneration is the experimental one where they tried all the kino shit they double down on DoR
Then there's like 2 dtv movies you shouldn't give a crap about that get retconed by the The Return, which also gets retconed by Regeneration
pls user
Nice
I'll check it out
pic related is kind of an outlier in schwarzenegger's filmography. the closest thing he ever did to a straight crime flick. violent as all hell towards the end. check it out.
the running man is one of those movies like death race 2000 or the '70s rollerball that does a pretty good job creating a dystopian world to be somewhat memorable but the action just isn't quite up to snuff to become a classic.
i saw day of reckoning first, then US1, and then the return, which was such a downgrade i never got around to watching regeneration. someday i'll get around it it.
fun fact: this takes place in the same universe as Bladerunner
Minority Report?
Fordkino
>Pierce Brosnan
>Patrick Stewart
>Christopher Lee
>Ted Levine
>in a gutter tier action flick
H O W
this is the movie for people who loved the beginning of full metal jacket and then zoned out when they got to nam. starring, not just featuring, starring r. lee ermey. seek out the longest uncensored cut.
How does this compare to the original?
looks good
One Man Force
Eraser
Digital Man
Full Eclipse
>Buy a box of VHS tapes at a flea market in the '90s
>This is one of them
>It's not even the real VHS, it's one someone recorded from TV
Absolutely solid flick. The final showdown arena is great. It's on YouTube too.
looks fun. might have to dl and fix that aspect ratio first.
If you like those '80s martial arts movies like No Retreat, No Surrender (another solid choice, as is the sequel) then you'll definitely enjoy it.
>Billy Blanks
>Cynthia Rothrock
Oh man. This kino right here.
> Wicked City (1987)
More like Wicked City (1992)
The superior live action version.
The Hidden, 1987
it has ayylines, whores, explosions, ayylien whores, ayylien explosions, exploding ayyliens, exploding whores, and explosive ayylien whores.
