>"My son Freddie would be 30 years old, people have postulated many ideas about what he might be – anything from cabaret singer to policeman.
>”I tend to go with a reincarnation of Martin's character, so he picked up on more from his granddad than his dad. That's the one I like."
>Speaking about his plans for the revival, Kelsey said: "My hope is that we can bring it back.
>"We're shopping for the right idea because I don’t think we should just pick up where we left off. Will and Grace has done a continuation, which is like the next day after they were last on the air – they picked up right where they left off. I don't think that's appropriate for Frasier.
>"He was leaving town at the end of the show previously, he was going to go and explore his life in Chicago with his new lady love. Whether that went badly or it went swimmingly, who knows, these are all themes we need to settle on and figure out what he's going to do next.
>"It may be a professorship somewhere or maybe back in private practice, but something that puts him at odds with his brother again a little bit and his new life – they have a child now."
>He added: "We're honing in on it and we'll see if someone wants to buy it. No-one has written a cheque yet. There are a lot of outlets that will probably pick it up."
>He was leaving town at the end of the show previously, he was going to go and explore his life in Chicago with his new lady love. Wat. I thought they called it quits and Frasier was moving to San Francisco, not Chicago. Anyway, an increased focus on Frederick seems like a good idea. That guy is an even better actor as an adult. I thought his character in Mad Men was great. As long as they get the rest of the main cast back I will be excited to see this.
William Lee
why not let Frasier rest, it's practically ghoulish how long audiences will have followed his troubled life if there's another series
Ian Brown
he has to pay alimony
Owen Powell
This, it was a good show but they should leave it alone. The only way I can possibly see it working is by focusing on Freddy and Frasier becoming more like Martin as he gets older but trying to push against that.
Oliver Walker
The finale of Frasier made it seem like he was on his way to San Francisco but he was really going to Chicago to reunite with what’s-her-name.
Zachary Ross
For it to have any chance of working they need to make a clean break from Seattle and the radio business. It can’t rely on nostalgia. In Cheers he was in Boston, in Frasier he was in Seattle. They need to find a new city and profession that fits.
Thomas Howard
>Fraser getting a taste for the lower things in life like lazy boy recliners, football and fast food
Oh my god fund this right now.
Owen Ortiz
I don't know if I like this. I'm fine with the way things ended and some new seasons of old shows sucked, like with the X Files.
Grayson Rivera
NOPE NOPE NOPE. Stop reviving shows and movies. It never turns out well
Eli Hill
Every year my dad looks more and more like him
Anthony Powell
Could have him be an actual therapist now. If he ends up in San Francisco he could be a therapist for celebrities which give a good excuse for cameos and could provide plenty of entertainment and plots. Of course his son would be gay now for sjw points.
>celebrities in SF Why not LA? works better with the celeb angle and he will stand out much more there.
Adam Brooks
Frasier and Niles on actual bad terms? It's the opposite of what I want
Isaiah Jenkins
Maybe he doesn't want to deal with LA bullshit and it could be retired actors or just monthly visits or who fucking cares the rest of the country just thinks all of California has actors you wouldn't have to explain why they make s 5 hour trip from LA.
Ryan Russell
Can't they produce any original TV shows anymore? Why do they have to keep reviving and remaking old shows? God knows I love Frasier but the whole idea of a new season with a geriatric Kelsey and a dead Mahoney is just incredibly depressing to me.
Jayden Cooper
The article mentions he might be working as a professor now which fits his character nicely
All of Hollywood is scared to drop money on anything untested anything that already has a track record of being successful is a safer bet. Nobody wants to gamble.
Connor Bennett
dude that dog is so long dead
Noah Price
Howdy!
Jeremiah Jackson
There has to be tension between them. The Frasier/Niles competitiveness is the lifeblood of the show.
Easton Perez
Probably.
Juan Gray
The first Eddie got swapped out for his son in the latter half of the show. His fur was all gray at that point and he had Alzheimer's. I think his son is also long dead. He might have some grandkids or great grandkids who could take the spot.
