it's literally not

I don't remember it looking this bad in the theater

>unfinished CGI
Marvel fags will lie to defend anything. Just admit your finished product sucks.

Even though its unfinished CGI just look at the state of that cinematography and action

Such a bad movie. Why do people like it so much?

>tfw my home town is now in the MCU
>tfw no face

Gotta go cheap and bland if you plan to boost your product by buying tickets and critics

Why is Cap running like he's in a slapstick movie?

>watch this "movie" opening weekend
>airport scene came up
>"well this will be become a meme on Yea Forums"
and i was right

if everything is CGI anyway why film it at an airport?

very Brutalist

>Have an actor in a full suit that doesn't even look bad
>"Fuck it, just replace him with CGI"

So why even shoot the background plate?

its so dumb, why didnt they just build a real suit???

>When asked why he was green-screening the San Francisco skyline even though he could film on an actual rooftop there, Tommy Wiseau replied: "This no Mickey Mouse production. I want to be professional."

>why didnt they just build a real suit???
They did.

i meant, use the real suit*** brain fart oops

So fucking terrible

*inhales deeply*
OH NO NO NO NO

Why was Scarlet on team Iron Man?

you have a problem

liars

It blows my mind that people don't find this absolutely ridiculous. A big budget movie having their epic fight in such a mundane place with bland daylight lighting makes this look like a fan production.

What exactly is wrong with daylight?

It looks too mundane. Like some cosplayers got together at a convention. But maybe they want to subvert expectations?

Attached: excalibur.webm (800x450, 832K)

I still can't understand what they were thinking with this scene. They knew they only had a handful of heroes, why make the fight in some bland empty area that just highlights how few people they had?

Is that english?

>adults watch this

Haha, the Mouse really learned their lesson

I keep trying to find the vid where he drunkenly yells "SECTOR BBBB, SECTOR B" or some shit.

Why was he shooting at the boxes?

>they can't go all out because they'd kill each other in seconds
What a boring piece of shit. This "fight" is worse than any DCEU movie

>Exec: the fitting takes place in an airport , so make it look like an actual airport looks in real life.
>Snyder: na, i don't think so. Going to film in pitch dark, during a thunderstorm, with a blue filter over everything, also slow motion for everything.

>Scene looking exactly like it does in real life, like a real life airport would look is bad.

This is was DCucks retards think

Was it filmed at an airport?

>the fitting

Fighting

no
they filmed it in a soundstage and just had the second unit director film the empty airport for background

wtf it actually looks really good without all the CGI

This scene wasn't even in the movie dumbfuck

No, I'm literally saying that it's literally the finished movie

It blows my mind how popular these comic book movies are. Seriously how the fuck do people not only watch these but get genuinely excited about them? I could understand if it was kids watching them but it's adults. Full grown up people getting excited about superheros flying about wearing bright suits fighting aliens in portals.

Attached: unicorn812268739865_9421780_45268440_6665647_n.jpg (520x720, 58K)

I don't get it either man. I thought I was alone since even here superhero threads get tons of replies when a new movies comes out. If at least they did something interesting with the set design but nope it all takes place in the real world.

Attached: batman.jpg (1600x900, 142K)

It's not like there's even any deep substance to them. They're like the movie version of junk food. But really shitty cheap junk food that isn't even tastey.

it's all placed in real world but with no real life consequences most of the time.

This!

Never understood them either. It's so mindless that it becomes boring, I get the same amount of enjoyment out of the Fast & Furious series

damn, that baby pulls off his outfit better than he does

Yeah it's wierd. Like entire major cities getting destroyed and then there's nothing's changed in the next movie.

That's also what I don't get. What do the fights matter if there are no stakes? Even if a character dies how do you know they won't bring them back with some magic bullshit? If at least there were some cool stunts but nope it's all CGI bullshit with quick cuts.

Attached: jackie chan stunt.jpg (600x300, 41K)

this is the worst part by far. no one ever speaks of the events that have been happening

why do people watch this shit

Attached: 9629171725874923769161.jpg (822x714, 40K)

Didn't they do that in Civil War? Only that you never really feel the consequences anyways in these movies.

>there are no stakes?
That's why I generally hate fantasy series and superhero movies. Everything is just for conveniance or what they think looks cool. Anything can just be whatever by magic. That's why there's always zero tension. Like that last big Marvel one where the blue final boss guy turns half the planets population into dust. You don't really give a fuck because you know in the next one some magic stone or a time travelling superhero will just reverse it all.

they're literally outdoors anyway and they choose to greenscreen the most mundane setting that they could find literally anywhere. Is that the true kino?

Civil War is unironically the worst MCU film Ive ever seen

I haven't seen blacked panther

yeah, civil war is pretty bad. Black panther is painfully middle ground — i think it's better than civil war. BP should have been a lot better, and I think Killmonger was a good villain. He was literally a better character than black panther himself

>yah!
>waha!
>wahoo!

>That's why I generally hate fantasy series and superhero movies. Anything can just be whatever by magic. That's why there's always zero tension.

That's not the case with all superhero movies. Ironically Iron Man managed to avoid that and add some tension and real-life feel to the usual superhero schlock. It's only after that movie that they've fucked everything up.

>Ironically Iron Man managed to avoid that and add some tension and real-life feel

Do you think so? Stark is pretty much a superhero with how super smart he is. At no point did I ever feel like he was in danger of wondered how he would get out of a situation.

Deleted scene on the DVD. CGI is unfinished. Decent action but it lowers the dignity of the shield a little bit by having the characters playing Frisbee with it like that.

I agree. He just invents and builds impossible machines that fly him out of every situation.

>Stark is pretty much a superhero with how super smart he is.
That's the point of the character. It's like complaining that James Bond is good at everything.
>At no point did I ever feel like he was in danger of wondered how he would get out of a situation.
That's your opinion. He came close to getting killed multiple times in the movie and each time he was saved by previously established plot elements, and not just being awesome with his powers.

But James Bond is not a super genius. In this scene I wondered how is he going to get out of this. Of course it was clear he would make it out of there but I wondered how. Sure he has some gadget but they are somewhat more grounded (except that crazy invsibile car). Like I didn't think that he will just whistle and call some robot to beat everyone up and free him or activate his super strength suit and free himself.

Attached: james bond goldfinger.jpg (474x283, 25K)

that is completely untrue.

The airport scene was very 4Channelian

OH THE ROOST

Attached: b8.png (67x67, 5K)

The robot calling and other shit was in the sequels which were of course utter garbage. In the movie he first gets BTFO by the fat one and only saved by his assistant and his spare reactor, which were previously established in the film. Then he defeats the fatso by flying at high velocity when his suit freezes and Iron Man's suit don't. Iron Man suit doesn't freeze because Stark eliminated that flaw. He didn't do it by being Doctor House and magically guessing that it would work. He did it because he was doing field tests previously in the movie which allowed him to find out the flaw and eliminate it in his own suite.

I still don't understand why they didn't just film it on a big empty lot. It's not like the location is unique or interesting enough to justify making it entirely out of CG - right? it's just a lot

Something I dont understand anymore, I have long since accepted I love superheroes
>inb4 hahaha he admitted to enjoying something
and ultimately it is western shonen in that the story exists to contextualize fighting and action, not the other way around, then keep you invested for more. Why then do other anons not accept or understand this and apply the same standards one would use to critique art to capeshit? I fucking hate chick flicks, so I just dont watch them, I would never consider larping to hate them while watching every new one.

Well, it was supposed to be for children, after all.

Attached: 3000501.jpg (200x215, 46K)

>and ultimately it is western shonen in that the story exists to contextualize fighting and action

yep, i´ve always noticed that when watching full metal alchemist

These movies would be much better if they just filmed all of the fight scenes guerilla style with no cgi.

shit was a gay ass fucking meme 10 years ago and it still is one now

bro it's 4Channelian, it's like Lynchian or Lovecraftian.

>can we shoot two arms trying to grab this dude?
>no, have 60 pajeet animate it

sorry buddy, I'll make it a wojack edit for you

Read comic - amateur heroes actually blow up a school killing amerifat kids, a pretty legit reason to regulate this shit, heroes must get a tested and receive a license
Watch movie - some irrelevant black people die somewhere, sad! So sad, now UN must control them because it will stop stuff from exploding somehow?
Why didn't they go with original story? because it makes Cap and Co look retarded?

Did they just tell them "go ahead and look like you're fighting" or did they actually train each movement?

Western men have childish mentality
No wonder why the chinese and Muslims are taking over

Lolcat was a good meme you Yea Forumstard

Why can't he aim for shit? Why can't his computer aim for shit? If he wasn't trying to hit Cap, fine, but he didn't accomplish anything except destruction of someone else's property. What a silly scene.

If heroes can't take bullets or missiles then they shouldn't be fighting against them. No need to write the bullets to conveniently always miss.
