Did any of the extras notice truman? Do they wonder why truman does it? I think truman does it because he doesn't want to be at home and has nothing better to do. I feel sad for truman in a way because he has to do this. I wonder why the writers don't just add some more characters into truman's life so that he could keep them company or make food for them. It's not that bad. I watched it without knowing what it was and expected a frothy, lighthearted romp. Instead I got my memestrings pulled on.
I think what really lets it down is that the overall message is MCCARTHY BAD, yet a blind man on a galloping horse can see that he clearly didn't go far enough and was completely right.
Like I say, I still liked it.
