Watched it earlier, was pretty good. Nothing outstanding but the acting wasn’t kino

The first acts were great but it took a nosedive once the reached the Andes, though Affleck's final scene was unexpected and pretty realistic.

I really do love the cast but something about it just keeps me from watching it, it just seems shallow

tell me one good thing about this movie
1 fucking good thing.,
You fucking can't.

The ex-special op marines make mistakes and are in actual danger throughout the movie.

Hedlund was pretty funny

it was boring as fuck
only good thing about it was the puerto rican girl

Nah, it isn't. It's a pretty good script and the characters are great.

Was really looking forward to this, it surprised me in a couple of ways in the first half and was completely predictable by the finish. Tons of great actors, none of whom really get anything interesting to do. My favorite scene was probably where the woman is leaving, both her conversation with Affleck and then Oscar Isaac's conversation with her were fantastic.

>flashy, hollow capeshit has dulled my brain
I'm sure you need blood splattered on your face every 5 seconds to keep you from yawning.

Not true in any way. They literally bulldoze everything and anything in their way. One gets killed because of the same cliche you see in literally every film about a random nobody killin a power figure.
>muh fragility
what fragilitY? they takeover an entire cartel base, even when the plan goes wrong they kill them all. fall somewhere in the fucking andes and actually survive and end up all knowing where the money was left.

It was alright

>fragility
No one said this except you, now go back to your Captain Mousecuck threads since you're obviously so obsessed to seething.

Alright, I'll give it a go then

>cliche you see in literally every film about a random nobody killin a power figure
Retard.
>end up all knowing where the money was left
Stop watching movies, you humungous retard.

only a disney shill would enjoy this netflix shit.

It was so retarded I stopped watching about halfway through.

There have been tons of great movies that have been released in the last year. Just because you only watch trash doesn't mean that this okay film was fresh.

Your instincts are correct. Script is horrible. Action is shit. The scenarios are so retarded as to be laughable. Performances are phoned in. It's utter shit.

I like the premise and the idea of it. But after looking at the reviews I see people saying the dialogue and acting is cringe. Not sure if I wanna watch now. Any movies like this that are better? Looking for some operator kino

>One gets killed because of the same cliche you see in literally every film about a random nobody killin a power figure
He died as a direct result of his greed, user.

>end up all knowing where the money was left.

Taking an 8 figure grid reference is apparently satanic magic according to zoomers.

>fresh
Fuck off to RetardedTomatoes

Disney hates netflix, user. They have been pushing back against it since they announced their own streaming service. You're just wrong on this one.

Gone in 60 Seconds is the best heist movie ever

I never knew you could get shot in the torso and then haul yourself and 100s of lbs of shit through adverse terrain for 5 days with no medical treatment of any kind.

But it's not a heist movie. They are just stealing individual cars.

Fuck the reviews. Who do you think writes those? It's basedboys and of course they will call dialogue between men, especially soldiers, cringey. Honestly, if you're interested in something look at the director and the crew and then decide. As for operator stuff, go with Sicario (also Soldado, if you aren't a brainlet), Zero Dark Thirty and Lone Survivor.

You get shot with cum in the ass everyday and still manage to shitpost.

that's what they want you to think. disney and netflix operate under the same exact cloth.

Fuck off shills

This movie is horrible

>shills
Shilling for what exactly?

>this is a breath of fresh air!
>no it's not fresh at all
>GO BACK TO RT!

this is your brain on autism

>Shilling for what exactly?
Netshits, obviously. Were you dropped on your head as kid?

>every poster who disagrees with me is the same person

this is your brain on autism

Nobody here uses Netflix to actually watch Netflix content, you literal mongoloid.

>everyone who doesn't participate in my imaginary kino culture war is a retarded shill
Yiiiiiiiikes, that's a cringe from me.

>hear firing from a building
>"hey better rush in like a retard and die"

>Nobody here uses Netflix to actually watch Netflix content, you literal mongoloid.
Do you actually believe that? Have the tardbois here couldn't figure out torrenting even if they watched a half-hour YT video about it.

>t. writer on this move

It's not a shitpost it's a shit script.

My favorite part is that they are all ex special forces, but when they get to S. America, they just strap on some rifles that they have no idea if they are zeroed or even reliable. Then they clear a house without suppressors, ensuring after the first shot that everyone else is going to be alerted.

Don't even get me started on the whole this helicopter can't lift this much weight that high over the mountain, but hey, let's just do it anyway. KEK

gun handling was literally Seagal tier

>they clear a house without suppressors

Imagine not having the names above the actual actors. Might check it out for Hunnam though.

Attached: charlie-hunnam4.jpg (3000x2000, 1.56M)

Surely not that bad.

Attached: seagal-5.webm (1920x1080, 906K)

are you faggots serious? it wasnt totally unwatchable but mostly incoherent, non authentic and only good for some nice visuals. the fact someone actually thought it was good enough to make a thread about it makes me physically sick

It's a shill thread, dude. Some Netflix ape probably made the thread.

Post your top ten rigth now.

it was underwhelming, such a good cast wasted on a dumb script, should have been 2 hours of operator kino

Attached: 1515613605350.jpg (388x388, 115K)

>wants /k/ino
listen to me user, just watch this.
they do a pretty gud job with gunplay (for a hollywood movie). there's respectable CQC squad movement, rifles are on semi-auto instead of full auto FUD shit, the lingo is ok, etc.

When special forces raid a house, and stealth is key, they use supressors, dipshit. I don't play video games, tardboi.

>t. doesn't know how supressors work

suppressors are used when there's possible civilians around

A suppressed rifle is loud as fuck you dumbass. It's just less load than an unsuppressed one. You have lost all stealth the minute you fire one round.

Preferred this.

but if you want other operator shit then watch any michael mann film or maybe even michael bay's benghazi one

Try not to choke on your vomit, your majesty.

he wasn't even shot in the torso, they show him get shot in the lower abdomen and explicitly state the bullet went clean thru. they gloss over the cleaning the wound part but did perform basic combat first aid. now for traveling a week with that wound... just turn off ur brain lmao

>traveling a week with that wound
Nah, they weren't out nearly that long.

“Netflix” is synonymous with “soulless”

u know why they call them suppressors instead of silencers, user?

It was enough to get him back in the general area. I’m sure his memory could work from there.

I’ll give this one a watch my man. It’s a boring Sunday anyway. Thanks

I expected things to go south like 15 minutes in like most of these adventure gone wrong films tend to do but it doesn't happen until about an hour into the film. Nice change of pace.

>implying suppressed 5.56 is quiet
>implying in all his planning Oscar didn’t take an hour to zero 5 rifles
>implying helo lift capabilities aren’t massively variable with regards to elevation, temperature etc

It triggers me so hard that the names are not above the matching actors

Is it more kino than this recent blockbuster?

im serious about the michael bay one too. there's a scene where a .50cal opens up on a skinny and rips him in half. make sure to watch with headphones/good sound system.
*THUMP* *THUMP* *THUMP*

I liked the movie a lot but hated the whole “give it all to the family” shit at the end. Affleck was the reason they all got so fucked. I would have kept my share.

lurk the middle eastern indie scene. a lot of amateur auteurs nowadays, think they'll expand to western markets soon

This. I hate how many dumb people can't refrain from spouting their shit online.
That's because you have no soul.

fuck off

>There have been tons of great movies that have been released in the last year.
Name ten

It was literal trash, sod off. Lame pacing and boring everything
real operators would never jeopardize their mission by overloading their chopper like a bunch of amateurs.

No one survives the Shitflix curse
every single shitflix movie is unmemorable and flat, like a month old open bottle of Coke. Fucking refute this! Fuck you! This shit SUCKED

>Affleck goes nuts, loads up more than 50-100 million, singlehandedly causes the mission to fail, doesn't listen when his mates tell him it's too much and they gotta go
lol

>missing the point this bad
Back to elementary school, user.
>look mommy, I'm a cynical piece of waste

is there any nudity? going to watch while at a family gathering

Could have kept him from picking up the shit but they were greedy too. All of them were tempted but Affleck the most, which is why he paid with his life. In the end they (first and foremost Isaac) decided to to keep their souls and stay soldiers (destroying a drug operation, instead of enriching themselves)

No. But a fairly attractive girl.

Happens to all their movies, go away zoomer. Watch that Eastwood movie, it's proper heist kino.

>look mommy, I'm still a cynical piece of waste

for an overall generic and forgettable film, i do really enjoy how they subvert affleck's character, the one everyone respects the most, as the one who fucks everything up.
in the container prep scene where he makes that speech about how "we don't represent the flag anymore, we are disavowing all we stood for blah blah" everyone is just kinda looking at him like wtf

There's nothing cynical about it retardf

i liked it

>we don't represent the flag anymore, we are disavowing all we stood for blah blah
He's right with that though. That's why the others decide not to take any money in the end.

Would've been good if the characters didn't make literal braindead decisions throughout the movie.

Hell yeah. I really enjoyed it.

They didn't. You're overestimating yourself.

I watched it with no expectations and loved it

I'm not surprised nu-Yea Forums hates it, considering they love capeshit like Alita and Aquaman

Great acting, believable characters, nice, grounded action, beautiful scenery, and a real sense of suspense.

Sure thing buddy.

I loved Alita and really liked Aquaman. Still think this is a great movie. Don't make the mistake of conflating stuff all the time.
>muh Netflix
>muh capeshit
Literally cancerous behavior.

Movie sucked. Best part was Affleck's character getting shot in the head. Thats literally it

Now I officially hate Triple Frontier, fuck off subhuman capeshitter

Imagine being this weak of character.

Do you think they went back for the money?

i know he is right about what he said, but it's the fact that he was the one to say it. in hindsight, after knowing affleck was the one that shits the bed, that speech seemed to be projection of his character's insecurity especially because isaac turned out to be the most moral guy and he didn't do any moralizing to the boys, he just respected that everyone understood what they were getting into.

i thought isaac would be the one to die since he was introduced first and was the one given an overt female love interest in the story. again, just saying i appreciate the bit of subversion in an otherwise by-the-book buddy heist movie

you gotta wait for the sequel brother

Why they HAD to go through the Andes? I mean: no Spanish speaking drug Don has any power in Brazil, or just take a boat at the beach?

Projection may have played a part in it, sure. Convincing him to join in felt like convincing an alcoholic to come to the bar with you. You could feel his misery and him restraining his urge. Guy was broken down for too long.

Ben killed the farmer for his daughter. The famer's son killed him. It's about family.

The sensitive, guilt ridden soldier meme is bullshit. I have to run into this bullshit day in and day out now. Like, seriously, who gives a fuck? People kill, put it behind them and go on with life. But no these swell fellas here. They just keep on doing it for money, but they feel really conflicted about it. LMAO fuck this shit. If you don't do it for money, it doesn't fuck you up. You go kill for Israel to pay for $80k worht of Liebral Arts education you are goddamned guaranteed to be a fucking basket case, but that's not how it works for decent people. This movie is just presenting a crock of shit archetype for conflicted war vets to immerse in. It's garbage propaganda like everything else on Netflix.

You must be 18 to pust on 4channel.

Seems to be an american phenomenon .

How many people have you killed, user?
