Well I tried to like it.
I watched it twice.
I watched Rooney Mara eat a pie for a combined total of 9 minutes.

Kek
why would you try to like it?
why you watch something other than capeshit to sprg with anons on /tv ?
i'm not joking, lots of movies are so boring, its just personal expirience that you can't share with others. This ghost movie probably is like a masturbation of ego - you probably will feel something, but there is nothing about this to discuss with your friends for hours.
But there are people who say that they jerk off with abrasive paper and then recommend other to do this. Maybe you got pranked with this shit, bra?
Loved this movie. Loved rewatching it. I genuinely feel sorry for those who couldn't. The pie eating scene was dramatically important.
you need to rewatch it 10 times to get it, pleb. Now get on with it.
>did you just hear that?
*unexplained footsteps of audience leaving the theater*
Same. I just could not get into the flow of this movie. Made me anxious for some reason.
Never had a movie make me weep uncontrollably before until this. I didn't even feel like it but when those credits rolled the entirety of the movie hit me.
Surprised more on here don't at least appreicate it. The humor of the ghost's appearance is supposed to break down your defenfes and make you more receptive to the message.
I'm embarrassed on your behalf
Okay, teen. That angst will dissipate eventually. Don't be angry at it, just accept it.
no one's angry here except you
I feel like there are other movies that get the same point across more concisely and without being completely unlikeable.
I loved it. It was depressing and comfy at the same time.
> I am waiting for someone.
> Who?
> I don't remember
:(
What could be more concise than this? An 8 year old could get the message of the movie with like 4 added lines of exposition. Any other movie trying to do this would seem verbose.
I don’t even know what we’re all talking about, let alone if I’m being rused
Yea Forums not liking it confirms to me that it's a great goddamn movie. Manages to completely slip the pretentious route it could have took and became genuine and honest.
>le cringe XD
Makes me so happy.
who is Yea Forums really?
Aren't you part of it?
i have lost friends to us disagreeing about this film. Its kino btw
we're talking about soi cinema
The pie scene was the only good part, based Rooney acting her heart out.
Can fans of this trash really defend the party scene? How about the pilgrim settlers? What the fuck?
Dont' worry, there's plenty of capeshit threads for you friendo
>Defend this
This isn't Yea Forums. The guy at the party's dialogue should have been cut in half. The pilgrim scene was the beginning of the climax of the movie. In fact these two scenes go hand in hand, the pilgrim scene was a complete refutation of balding party goer's words. The movie name drops Nietzche at one point, through a book on the shelf, and the entire movie was just a moving summary of his work. Because life is meaningless, because nothing we do, no matter how great, ultimately matters, that means everything we do matters that much more. He was the only person to see that little girl put that paper underneath that rock, that doesn't mean it didn't matter.
Inb4 cringe, pretending you read Nietzche, etc.
this movie sucked I didn't get scared once
I thought it was going to be a stupid jokey horror movie but I was really pleasantly surprised.
What did she write on the paper?
sounds reddity
>Santa, this year I want the Lego Harry Potter Hogwarts boxset and also for Kate to stop being a meanie to me. Thank you, bye, I love you.
Enthusiasm for life in the acceptance and embrace of the despair of life is the most Yea Forums thing imaginable. Despondent nihilism is reddity. You're talking about the site who is currently unironically ironically becoming Christian out of the sheer power of contarianism.
ur a faget
The shot of him touching the glass wall in the corporate building, while you yourself are in the adjacent building behind an identical glass wall was great. It gave me a feeling I've never felt before.
I wish I could touch his arms.
>I don’t think they’re coming
Bane?
*ghost queef*
>Bro, you smell that?
