Usually he can catch up with the competition in each arc. Now, by the time he catches up with the last strongest guy, a new strongest guy is already in his place.

It's ridiculous when you characters can suddenly blow up the planet itself on accident if they aren't being careful.

They're similar in that they're stoic autists because Super can't into characters, but that's it. Jiren is an arrogant, sanctimonious shithead who works out so he can boss people around better. Hit starts out cold and somewhat complacent, but grows to be more affable, and adopts an attitude towards training and fighting more similar to Goku's by the time the ToP rolls around.

Furthermore, everyone's power is seemingly limitless, it would have been better if it looked like they were approaching their own power level ceiling but they keep breaking through it.

After the tournament he admits to Vegeta he doesn't have access to it, he can't willngly use UI. This also means that Vegeta is currently ahead of Goku thanks to his blue eyed SSB form being a mark above SSB
