Pump out a Toy Story 4 and Frozen 2, crank out live action Aladdin and Lion King, and don't forget about capeshit. What sells gets made again and it's a formula that's nearly guaranteed to keep making them money. Somewhere along the line they figured out being "progressive" makes them even more money, so this agenda is shamelessly shoehorned into every Hollywood hit. Every now and then something original will come out, but it's really only an afterthought. As long as normies keep buying tickets to whatever shitty sequels/reboots they're cranking out, they see no reason to learn anything about quality filmmaking.
