Being the naive dreamer that I am, I like to believe that Metalocalypse’s finale was so fucking metal, showing it in visual animation would melt the universe.

I know it wasn't exactly kino television or anything like that but it was fun as hell. I know it had plenty of problems (mostly stuff they couldn't get away with on broadcast TV) but I missed Constantine when it got canned.

Nothing really. Most shows can barely fill the time they do take up, and I don't cry for anything when it ends. No show really hit it's stride in season 10, they inherently have a short shelf life. And if the uncancelled shows are any indication, quality should not be taken for granted with any hypothetical continuation.

I am kind of sad to see Last Call with Carson Daly go but moving on... When he was doing the desk format of last night schlock it sucked. But I enjoyed the format of just interviewing people at a bar or restaurant lounge and then cutting it all up for time purposes. That with the music at venues the bands would be playing anyways at a real show. It was always hit and miss with content but it was short enough that I never found it insufferable. 20 minutes is good enough for those kinds of magazine shows.

it became pretty unbearable after the first season. the cuckold scenarios were on the nose too. i kind of agree with people who say it was only good for the first 3 episodes or something when he was alone.

Galaktikon 1 and 2 just seem like that side band that Nathan, Pickles, and Skwisgar tried to do when Toki and Murderface left to try something else. It's not terrible but until there's an actual Dethalbum 4 and/or a Klok Opera sequel I still see the series as unfinished

The Dethalbums are definitely above Galaktikon and I don't mind Galaktikon 2 being a narrative for some kind of endgame for Dethklok's journey but it just seems like a rough draft. I just felt like there would be more, especially after they "released" Blazing Star which I saw as a possible teaser to the Dethalbum 4

The show peaked at the first season.
The first five episodes of season 2 were good too and for some reason they've decided to give the episodes a story arc and it went downhill from there.

Season 3 was pure shit, Lucy basically is the protagonist of that season. Way to many episodes that focuses on her, going completely against the theme of the show.
