just rewatched the first 3 seasons the other day actually, seasons 1, 2, and 4 are the only memorable seasons. Season 3 is arguably the worst of the series. I would say at least give up to season 4 a shot. after that, its up to you.

I don't get why people don't like S5. 1 through 5 is my recommendation. Then hate-watch the rest just for the closure. The really shitty stuff is in the last parts of the last season.

Season 5s main bad guy (jordan chase) was such an unrealistic and cartoony character. I think the season would have gone better if it were just the group without Jordan but fucking michael kept pushing for another big bad for every season. The fact that they needed an evil mastermind leader was cringey af

I like Dexter's relationship with Miguel so I kind of ignore the bad parts of the season.

The final season goes to the so bad that it's good territory, you'll have to watch it to believe how the series has fallen. Otherwise the later seasons are not worth it other than season seven, if only for a great villain it had
