I remember him when he was new and people just enjoyed the novelty of an average nobody making these videos and being a big hit. The actual comedy got old after like two videos but it was of its time. The 2000s were all about everything being "awesome" and "epic", whereas today is about everything being "cringe" and "yikes". You had to be there.

James Rolfe fared the sands of time much better than the critic. He's more or less acknowledged that the angry nerd shtick isn't funny anymore so he's toned it down and has a lot more reviews where he's just himself.
