>The main Transformers film franchise producer, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, stated he is currently overseeing the scripting of two Transformers films sequels. He said so as part of a bigger interview to a Japanese movie news website as part of the Bumblebee press tour. One of the films is the next big tentpole Transformers film to follow The Last Knight, while the other is a sequel to Bumblebee. Please keep in mind that the film following the last Knight was already said to be a new experience and thus may involve a new storyline rather than finishing what was started in the Last Knight. The Bumblebee sequel is said to be a buddy movie featuring Optimus and Bumblebee. So one would take place in the past while the other in the present.
>Here is a quote from the website: Throughout the day, Di Bonaventura talks with smiles," Our greatest mission is to the audience To be satisfied, "to meet the expectations of the audience." To that end, he and his colleagues are already working on a new series. "We are already working on two projects and are in the process of writing a script. One is the latest in the main family series following Transformers: The Last Knight and the other is a sequel to Bumblebee So, we are thinking of works where Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will be the buddy (buddy), but when Optimus and Bumblebee are the movies of the protagonists ... how human beings get involved in their drama In the first place, the size is different between human beings and theirs .... It's a worrying point (laughs).
>tfw the TLK sequel uses Bumblebee movie designs and does it's own thing different with Unicron and Quintessons. Bayfags on suicide watch >Optimus/Bee buddycop movie Nice
Owen Ramirez
>Bay kino Bay is not coming back. He's done with the franchise. Enjoy your standalone non TLK sequel from Guilermo Del Toro with Bumblebee movie designs.
Jason Jenkins
Reminder that Bumblebee bombed and made less money than TLK.
That is why TLK is getting a sequel.
Tyler Brown
It made money by virtue of having a lower budget you dumbfuck.
Jaxson Gray
TLK lost 100 million for Paramount and Bumblebee made 400 million profit. Cope more Lorenzo will get fired soon,Hasbro said Bumblebee is a reboot.
Ryder Brooks
>”B-B-B-Bumblebee was successful guys! It wasn’t a failure that lost to Aquaman! It pandered to my 80s nostalgia! It can’t fail!”- Geewunners
>movie fails so badly that Paramount has no faith in Bumblebee and G1 that they have to make a sequel to the Bayverse movies
*breathes in*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Luke Anderson
Why did Grindor not pick up Scorponok on the way? He would still have a face.
Jackson Adams
>He's done with the franchise.
He's been done before.
Kayden Hill
>Del Toro Cool, thanks.
Isaac Morales
>Nostalgiafags: Bumblebee is gonna be the best Transformers movie ever and btfo of the Bayverse movies! >*becomes the worst performing Transformers movie and bombs* >*makes less money than Aquaman* >Paremount is so disappointed that they are forced to also make a sequel to TLK alongside their Bumblebee sequel since they have no faith in it >Nostalgiafags: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!
I love the smell of karma.
Eli Rogers
>all these Bayfags seething when they find out that the "TLK sequel" is actually a Bumblebee movie big cast film with G1 designs.
Michael Edwards
Why would they do that when Bumblebee bombed despite pandering to G1fags? Why would they pander to people that don’t pay to watch movies?
SO,YHEY DO THE WB DC MODEL OF DOING STANDALONE MOVIES? A BEE SEQEUL IN THAT REBOOT UNIVERSE AND A SEPARATE TLK SEQEL IN BAYVERSE? I'M FINE WITH THIS.FACT.
Julian Foster
Not really. Try it out, but keep in mind it was a show made mainly to sell merchandise rather than telling compelling narratives.
Aiden Johnson
What are they gonna do when Cullen passes away, the poor guy is pushing 80.
Is anyone going to keep him on his leash? Because, seriously, this is getting stupid. Stupid beyond belief.
Both he and Bay confirmed TLK was the last of that line. Now, they're saying there's a sequel coming. Now, there's a buddy flick with Bumblebee and Optimus. I think he forgets (or hasn't been clued in) that Hasbro now has control over the franchise and will be taking lead, here.
Or, he's right and this whole thing is an utterly pointless mess. If they rescind what Bumblebee has started and actually DO go back to TLK, I'm out. I mean it this time. I only gave Bumblebee a chance because it was shaping up to be a reboot and had really good word of mouth. If they screw it up and throw that all away, the film franchise is ruined at that point. It'll be the first TF film I skip. Not just in theaters but in purchases as well. I'm not a pirate, don't believe in it and I wouldn't even go to that extreme to see it. I'll disavow the movies completely at that point. I'll boycott it from top to bottom.
This is a terrible idea IF Lorenzo is actually telling the truth and correct this time. (He's been wrong and proven wrong before.)

>Then explain why we get a BUMBLEBEE sequel too? Explain why The Last Knight is getting a sequel. If Bumblebee was a success, they wouldn’t have to go back to the old Bayverse.
Because BumbleBee is a failure and they don’t want to admit that it failed. It was suppose to be the start of a new universe and it has already failed horribly.
Now Paramount is trying to have their cake and eat it to by going back to the Bayverse for extra money and hoping that the new G1 Bumbleverse can take off eventually.
Jonathan Gonzalez
Anyone who thinks Paramount is going to do a sequel to a movie that forced out a CEO, nearly sank the studio and killed lucrative Chinese contracts is seriously deluding themselves. If they are, the movie is going to bomb. TLK BOMBED hard. It was the movie going audience already having enough of the Bay formula of eye candy with poor characters and story.
Bumblebee succeeded because of good characters and a story that people actually cared about and got behind. The last thing you want is to sabotage Transformers new momentum with a return to the failed formula.
I saw this pasta before on Yea Forums

G1fags BTFO!
Gavin Long
The Last Knight made more money than Bumblebee.
Bumblebee is a reboot and suppose to be a start of a new universe. Yet it can’t even make 500M and it lost to Aquaman and Captain Marvel.
And the OP states they are continuing the TLK universe alongside the BumbleBee/G1-pandering universe. This means they have no faith in the new Bumblebee-Reboot (despite claiming to) and are trying to have both the Bayverse and the rebootverse to satisfy.

>Explain why The Last Knight is getting a sequel.
And where the fuck does it say that?
Ryder Jenkins
They are making a sequel to Bumblebee. Also: > that the film following the last Knight was already said to be a new experience and thus may involve a new storyline rather than finishing what was started in the Last Knight. It's not a TLK sequel, OP can't into reading.
Dominic Wood
>bay >kino Pick one
Jack Gomez
>One is the latest in the main family series following Transformers: The Last Knight
Benjamin Cruz
That just means they won’t finish the Unicron story. But Prime will probably still be Murder Prime than bitch 80s Prime.
Henry Nelson
What if he uses the 80s design though but has the Bayverse personality?
Nathaniel Johnson
So it's the next movie in the main series, with TLK being the last one before it? Kinda like how Amazing Spider-Man was the next movie in the Spider-Man series, after Spider-Man 3?
Come on, I know that Transformers was made for the lowest common denominator but the MCU is literally worse. Not to mention that the fanbase isn't any better.
