I'm up to episode 7 and so far everything has been entertaining and well animated at minimum. Most of the stories are pretty generic and shallow, but they're well told and the voice acting is all pretty top notch. There hasn't been one that I've been bored with or disliked so far.
It's an anthology in the same vein as the animatrix but mixed with elements of the outer limits or twilight zone. And like all anthologies it's hit or miss but more hit than miss and even the bad episodes are not bad enough to kill it.
Solid animation with a couple real surprises, solid story work with a couple of real surprises but a couple of twists you'll see coming, the only real problem is two or three 'Netflix style' protagonists. For example the first story is about a grrrl powah dyke rape survivor and there's a gay nigger in space but neither episode is long enough to kill the series as a whole.
8/10 would watch again.

2. They're not mixing CGI with real people and locations which are always shot by someone who has no idea about animation so the animators just have to make it work
3. It's probably a passion project for the studio instead of a contract job like all capeshit is

5. Most capeshit CGI is made by multiple animation studios all over the world instead of one

That one had some good designs and underground cage fights will always be neat, but the gender politics were so on the nose, it could have used a few rewritings to refine it.
I'm starting the 5th one, so far they've been okay. Nothing extraordinary, the styles are pretty fresh, but the stories are lacking. Witness has been the best, not much substance to it , but they executed a really basic concept without overstaying it's welcome. The 3 robots and cat one had it's funny moments, but the dialogue reeks of self importance.

A lot of his work is still featured in Animatics that Sony showcases as well as the art book which basically has Prototype Peni Parker being the exact same girl used in the Witness. You can see his impact throughout the movie. His vision was just a bit darker than I think lord and miller wanted.
