50 million people and they dont have a single great director, musician, artist, or fashion designer. literally everything they produce is just a cheap mediocre knockoff of american culture. their "best" films are cheap action or horror flicks. meanwhile japan, taiwan, hong kong, china, maybe even kazakhstan are capable of producing hundreds of truly great films. why is this? is the problem with korean audiences at large or the population themselves? what makes their cheap knockoffs such as kpop and i oldboy appeal so much to western losers who hate the original western versions?
