Jackass was always A sanitized ripoff of the first 2 CKY movies. The whole gimmick was already getting old by the time the first season of Jackass aired.

Maybe it's nostalgia, idk. But there was something always so comfy about Jackass in particular. Something about the guerilla style of filming, the graininess of the footage and the genuine interactions between the guys on the show and the unsuspecting public was just peak comfy.
