>what can be done to save this franchise?
Its ending

>he doesn't know
PPPFFFTTT

Probably not a sequel. I imagine Hasbro will make a full blown reboot again.

The current series is really fucking good, much better than the swill the "Neo-Saban" era brought us.

is that the beast morphers or somthing?
i dont know much about it, will it make me relive my childhood and forget about how shitty life actually is?

dont know what??

the last movie that came out was a reboot tho, they cant just reboot again can they?
i think that would be confusing to audiences

if that dosnt work just re-ree-REEEEboot again lol

power rangers ended in 95

make new shit

bring in Green Ranger, set him up to be Lord Drakkon

green ranger should be asian for muh diversity

I hope so. The movie was one of the best cape-like movies of the 2010s in my eyes. The story was great and the character interactions were some of the best in any teen movie ever. Kudos to the casting staff for choosing people who actually get along really well on screen
I think the trailers and promotional material have to be more lighthearted to make general audiences more interested. The movie itself was a solid 8/10, even according to normal-movie standards but the only mistake they made was not giving the Rangers more screentime in their suits

The Jew Saban sold the franchise, lock stock and barrel to Hasbro.
Get ready for Power Rangers with an actual budget thrown at it. They've already been talking with Allspark Pictures and Paramount to develop a new Power Rangers movie.

Beast Morphers, yeah. It's got some serious SPD vibes. Writing is already better than anything from the previous 4 seasons and we're only 2 episodes in.

that'd be nice

so if there gonna reboot i guess that means recasting aswell.

so time for tv/s favorite game....

cast them?

red ranger : liams hemsworth
blue ranger : tom holland
pink ranger : mckenzie foy
yellow ranger: kelly marie tran
black ranger: that thick necked colored fella

In the show he was Native American - The Actor wasn't, but the character was.

that always threw me off as a kid. I simply assumed he was mixed, or something like that.

I really thought this movie was good. Feels like I am the only one. What was wrong with it outside the shitty crispy creme donut. They even glossed over the LGBT pandering smoothly so that big thing wasn't that bad

Hasbro can't really "talk with" Allspark Pictures, considering Allspark IS Hasbro.

>What was wrong with it outside the shitty crispy creme donut.
Not enough Power Rangering. One suit fight of about two minutes, not enough Zord fighting.

More Krispy Kreme

Personally it reminded me of many of the shows where it's just normie shit 80% of the episode and then 5-8 mins of fighting. I guess that just doesn't transition well into a full fledged movie

Your average Power Ranger episode has at least two, if not three fights. At minimum there's an initial fight where the Rangers learn what the bad guys power is or something, and then a final fight when they learn the weakness/moral of the day and beat them.

If they had let the morph maybe mid-movie the pacing would have been a ton better.

>will there be a sequel
no, Saban sold the franchise to Hasbro, who intends to reboot it
>what can be done to save the franchise
I actually really liked PR2017, and wish there was a sequel.

They're doing it with ninja turtles sooooo why not

My memory is probably shit. Thanks for jumpstarting it user.
Man I just really wanted to see more. They seemed to have a nice cast too.

The cast was great, and the suits even have grown on me. It was just too slow, and due to it's crazy development, was too expensive. It performed well in box office and home sales but it cost over double what it should have to make.

There was one extended sequence of droid fighting, which I think is a perfectly good amount. Agreed on there not being enough suited fights, the rangers should have gotten a crack at Rita and a smaller Goldar while suited up.

I actually didn't mind that it was a pseudo-YA film. They actually nailed the kids characters and their development.

Fuck now I want to rewatch this movie

Just watch Super Sentai

I mean that's the whole shtick that everyone remembers; the Rangers beat up the monster on foot, he dies, then "MAKE MY MONSTER GROW!". The fact that they didn't have that was nearly criminal.

It didn't even have to be that, and I'd argue that a fight against some different harbinger type monsters or even a loss to Rita about halfway through the film (before they're firing on all cylinders as a team) would do a lot more for the pacing/story than the growing bit.

HASBRO scraped the sequel. Going with a whole new cast and starting from scrap

Yeah that would do more for the plot, but just really want to see the monster grow.

Good. I hated the blue ranger.

It could have been good man, but fuck, they didn't push it as far as they should have.

Besides Muh Diversity. He was the heart of the movie. Didnt feel like a pretty boy shoved in for pre teens and hebepholie viewers. The cast was solid though. Could've done with more in suits fighting

You're a couple decades late bud

I'm disappointed that Hasbro is going to be taking over, because I feel like Bumblebee and Power Rangers were similar movies but Power Rangers was just done much better.

If Beast Morphers is anything to go by (and it probably is), I am very excited about Hasbro being in charge.

oof, being this wrong

Apart from having a nigger be the lead.

So you're not enjoying your first Power Rangers season?

This. Only got the most screen time to be stereotypical loud mouth negro. I thought the asian guy was ok but he barely got any screentime.

It was blatant back then

it would've been great. sucks it didn't get the audience. i enjoyed the movie. all the characters/actors were great.
i think tommy (would've been a girl in the sequel).

Dacre Montgomery rules ^.^

All they had to do was follow simple formula the first couple season had. Just simple action Power Rangers stuff. But nope. Have to have a lesbian, a nigger who happens to be a literal mentally handicapped retard, shitty rap music that sounds out of place etc.

>what can be done to save this franchise?
Have sex

wait, what?

they're rebooting TMNT?

I hadn't heard this but it wouldn't surprise me, the cartoon just got rebooted.

>make a movie on a franchise that survived on merchandising
>art direction is dogshit
Who's the genius behind this?

You have some shit taste my friend

>will there be a sequel?
TENSHIN DAAAAAAAAAA!

>the white ranger is some 8 year old kid in japan

How will they fuck up the CGI suits this time?

Adapt Kamen Rider instead

I would've loved a sequel where the Green Dragonzord fought the Red Dragonzord.

Did they make a new suit for the american version of the white ranger? No way tommy would fit in that.

>TV show has them all hanging out at the Juice Bar all the time
>Movie has them at Krispy Kreme
What's wrong with that?

>AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>THE OOZE IS BACK
>TOO LONG IVE BEEN WAITING AROUND FOR THE NEXT POWER KINO
>THAT SMELL
>SMELLS LIKE UUUUUH
>incels

for reals

me too

Just make it like the show
-No gritty shit, make it over the top and cheesy
-Colorful
-Less CGI and more practical effects and costumes.
-Theme song needs to be blasting

- Bring back the goofy shit
- Early 90's atmosphere
- Don't bring any sjw bullshit
- Don't CGI or over design the armors and zords

And that's pretty much it.
