You know what It was a good movie and I hated everything it represented just like when Peter died in the comics.
I mean they had to cut Miles own separate run and resurrect Peter Parker in the comics because guess what even black people don't like pandering and shitting on decades of work. Yet here we fucking are with this shit being pushed once again twice in it it's own year.
Why is it even called spiderman? Hell Spider Gweyn is called Spider Gweyn.
Ultimate Peter was the most boring thing in his comic book. He was just a retread of 616 Pete except younger. The only interesting thing that he did was die. I'm surprised they didn't kill him off sooner.
Also Comic books are an awful medium.

I liked it but it didn't do enough to develop Gwen and they're gonna have trouble getting a lot more mileage out of Miles. Still better than anything in the MCU

Spiderverse fixed Miles. He was shit in ultiverse but has better characterization now, and the mentoring from Peter was cute. I'm not sure if killing his uncle was the way to go, though.

It compounds the problem with Miles, the only way to "fix" him is to properly write him into peters life or shunt his blac ass back to the ultimate universe. Doubling down on his origin being peter dying just splits the fan base and never gives the characters an actual chance to interact organically. And don't give me any of this multiverse bull shit spider-man works best street level and cosmic bullshit isn't street level
