Why don’t they use real suits anymore...

Why don’t they use real suits anymore? It can’t be cheaper to CGI a suit onto someone for 60 minutes than to actually just construct a suit for them to wear.

Why didn't they get a real stunt raccoon?

why didn't they kill half of humanity for real?

Why didnt they actually film in space?

Why didn’t they cast an actual Norse god?

Roberty "Downy" Junior refused to wear the suit because it was too heavy.

Literal paid Marvel shills, and/or children.

Why can't i have sex?

Why didn't they use the actual infinity stones

Zoomers dont care

Because actors are demanding annoying fuckers, and a stunt dude wearing a suit will just look silly for anything that requires movement.

They would look too fat inna suit.
Look at drunk Tony in Iron Man 2 and the Diner scene.

Peter Weller was a houndred lbs tops as Robocop and look how bulky the suit made him.

>implying being in a metal suit shouldn't be bulky
Iron Man 1 and 2 was peak Iron Man suit era. Fuck your nanomachines son I want movingpartskino

The new suit was the absolute height of fucking laziness.

It would probably be cheaper for you to develop some sort of virtual simulation rather than paying someone to have sex with you. It would be too expensive.

Hollywood isn't about what's cheaper. They paid RDJ 50 million dollars to act as Tony Stark in the Avengers for 2 months. Having a physical suit would only cause problems when filming. Hollywood is about getting the film shot and released as quickly as possible so they can make back their budget + profit and then they move onto the next project.

We understand that in real life an iron suit would be bulky but on film it looks better if the suit is slimmer

Fuck off

Why didn't they film it in the real Wakanda?

Why didn't he post a real argument?

Why didn’t they use the actual stones for the special effects?

These are completely soulless products, not movies.

Fucking hell you worry about the goofy CG costume replacement, but I'm still fascinated by the scene with Odin in Ragnarok.
>staring at a bluescreen of an ocean
>nothing notable about it, just a generic seaside view on an overcast day
>"Look at this place, it's beautiful" says Odin as his hand fuzzes against the background and he points to a washed out video of a shitty sea

It would look worse than cgi desu

They can make the suit out of fucking painted cardboard. RDJ is just lazy.

The only person who pushed for practical suits was Favreau and he got pushed out by Feige

he got $10mil for his spiderman cameo

Those are fucking huge percentages of the budget, delete a zero and it's already a good salary.

you must be new

They never used fully real suits.

Iron Man 1 and 2 might put a partial helmet and chest piece on the actor, the rest is motion capture markers

He died not so long ago.

>capeshit

even if they have a real suit on set, it always gets replaced by CGI later because integrating the shuit into a CGI scene is almost impossible these days. Its easier and cheaper and looks better.

These movies are money laundering schemes
