>greedy schemer with no loyalty to the others around him looking to enrich himself even if they are all destroyed

how did Cameron get away with naming (((them))) this obviously?

It was a bad call.....

how do you nail an ass to a wall

Well, I'm gonna make sure that they nail you right to the wall for this!

From Cameron's site

>"YOU'RE NOT GONNA JEW YOUR WAY OUTTA THIS ONE, BURKE!"

Different time

You know, I... I expected more from you. I thought you'd be smarter than this.

It's true, they were just bugs.

I like the Bug angle better too, and it doesn't mean they weren't bio-weapons.

Based

Aliens (and Alien) doesn't have a single line of bad dialogue, great writing.

was this the most obvious betrayal in cinema history?

Was Ripley autistic?
>you're in a life-or-death situation
>you're locked in this life-or-death situation with someone whom you might have to rely on to save your life... say if they make it through the escape door before you
>instead of holding your thoughts until you're all out alive you choose to threaten their life and get on their bad side right there on the spot

This scene scared the fucking shit out of me as a kid. I was afraid to be left in the car alone if I was in the front seat for fucking weeks.

Ripley could not sanction his buffoonery

Yeah, I found that to be pretty dumb.

considering the nuke was never shown to destroy the derelict ship, the path they followed with the sequels is really fucking weird

He did just try to have her and Newt be hosts for the organisms to take back to Way-Yu.

She was acting irationally

It’s still a good movie, scared the shit outta me as a kid

>Hudsons' every other lolrandumb quip
>every time Burke says "kiddo" to Ripley
>"Do something, Gorman!"
>BISHOOAAAAP! GOD DAMN YOUUUU

on first watch it gets balanced out by the "twist" of Bishop remaining a good guy all way long

Literally nothing wrong with those lines, you fagmaster.

Burke already had blood on his hands and now he started to echo Ash's company bullshit about taking specimens back, it's an expected reaction from Ripley

not quite yet, she just found out that it was Burke who sent Newt's family out to investigate the derelict, effectively killing 150odd colonists. bad enough, but the facehugger scene comes after this

oh shit I got them mixed up. I really need to rewatch it, been a decade at least.

>that scene where the alien wants a hug

He's loyal to the company.

>the (((company)))
they all are like that

You'll get what you're contracted for, same as everyone else.

how is he different than any other company goy?
