World's End is the only one that has an emotional impact. Shaun does too, to some degree, but comes nowhere near World's End's stuff. They're better than Hot Fuzz because of that, but obviously all three are peak kino.

It's a good movie user but it's more or less a primarily war-focused film while the others are not.

World's End hit 2 close 2 home for the viewerbase, which is why everyone calls it the weakest.

No it has a horrible ending and just lacks the charm of the other two.

Also it is jokingly referred to as cornetto trilogy as a referense to three colors trilogy the correct way to call this trilogy would be a 'pubs and friendship trilogy' lol. Each movie depicts a friendship between two men in different stages. The order should be: HF: the beginning of a friendship; Shaun: a decade old friendship is tested; TWE: the aftermath after falling out of a lifelong friendship. That's why no woman will ever truly fully understand these movies (or men with no true friends).
As far as the rankings go, each movie excels in its own way.
Shaun serves the best genre hommage of the three, I'd go as far as to say that it's one of the best zombie movies ever, so this one does genre better than the others.
HF is by far the most hilarious comedy with the best plot of all three. It is legit one of the greatest comedies of all time and the mystery is satisfying and fun.
TWE is the best movie overall. It's not the best comedy of the three, it's not the best genre hommage but everything: cinematography, action, music, trademark foreshadowing, structure, effects, direction and performances is near perfect in that movie.
