It was actual great until the last 15 minutes, which were so laughably bad they ruined the rest of the movie. Honestly kind of impressive to fuck up that badly.
No Denis
The whole movie takes place along a dirt road.
I hated everything past when he just decides to switch sides and help the unlikable Mexican bitch. They could've atleast made her deaf
I liked it. Not as good as 1, but still one of the more memorable films of that year. Cutting the script in half was a poor choice.
>they kidnap a girl to Texas then rescue her the same day then drive her back to Mexico
How did Alejandro know which kid shot him? He was blindfolded. He only knows that the kid he visits at the end worked for the cartel, he doesn't necessarily know it was him who shot him
How it should have ended: Graver accidentally lets it slip during their last conversation that USM will airstrike their location ASAP when he turns on the tracker, it's not immediately evident that he did so, so you don't think about it. You think Alejandro is going to give the girl back to Reyes because he feels sympathy for her after a heart to heart, he somehow gets into contact with or meets up with Reyes, Alejandro uses his tracker to ensure Reyes, the daughter die in the airstrike, further solidifying him as someone who has lost any ability to give a fuck. USM thinks Alejandro died in the strike.
You can still have sequel bait with Graver vs Alejandro without ruining the entire movie to set up the third one.
What was the original script? The first half felt like a bad action movie and the second felt like it was trying to ride on the success of The Last of Us and Logan.
Why did Alejandro want to help the girl when the previous film ended with him murdering another cartel leader's entire family?
From what I gather, which is not much, after Alejandro survives getting shot, he makes his way to Reyes' compound and begins a rampage. I believe Graver also killed the girl.
He saw him before and it's the only one who can identify Alejandro. He made connections, it's not that difficult.
He actually had time to bond with the girl a little bit, and with the first family it was his explicit goal to do that. Here he had more of a choice.

yeah i want this sorry
It was so bad and it had to end in the dumbest way.
"So you want to be a Sicario?"
Like does it get any worse than that? 2 Spanish speaking characters and one says 90% of the line in English with 1 Spanish word that also happens to be the fucking title of the movie.
i loved the part in 5icario where a cartel leader became POTUS and Graver(who didn't actually die at the end of Sic4rio) and Alejandro have to stop him.
It wasn't bad. It's a better thriller than 90 percent of them, it's just not consistent with the first one.
Give Taylor Sheridan full reigns to finish out the trilogy. Director amd writer.
You forgot the part where the cartel leader is Graver's twin brother.
