in 2019 doom has to be the most irrelevant thing in existence. The last game wasn't bad but it was based entirely on nostalgia.
The older games were based on technical feats kind of like early star wars. Doom 3 was completely overshadowed by hl2 and
was pretty much the end of that franchise. Rage was better but still kind of like going out with a whimper when you consider
their legacy. It's all been a big fat 0 since then.
