It's pretty much just Jackie Chan movies. The rest is stale, rigid fight scenes of people doing katas poses.
Incorrect, but alot of them are
bumping for Jackino
>the foreigner
was that any good
What are the best Jackie Chan movies?
/thread/
Police Story 1&2 & Armour of god. Rumble in the Bronx gets Honorable mentions.
It was very good, maybe a little slow, but overall great flick
Thanks. I will probably go through a lot of them. I didn't know where to start.
fucking based to another dimension homes
Only the ending and the fight against Russian Gene Wilder were good.
>doesn't post the music
Drunken Master, the first one. I had a favorite dub of it but I can't seem to find it anywhere anymore
Shaw Brothers made lots of good kung fu flicks, anything with the Venom Gang is fun
>not when he kicks the sign
>not every fight scene
>not the part where he kills the guy with the nipples
>not his old man disguise
romance sucked I'll give you that
Pretty much go through Police story franchise (just had bluray remaster) , theN Amour of god 1&2. Then you can move on to the 90's more western market stuff like Mr Nice guy.
People will say Meals on Wheels and Project A are good films but it's kind of 30 minutes of good slapstick and fight scenes and 60 minutes of nonsense.
Drunken Master 2. The fight scene choreography was poetry in motion

who's your favorite of the Five Venoms, bros? For me it's Centipede>Scorpion>Toad>Snake>Lizard
Man of Tai Chi is extremely fucking underrated and has a good showcase of fighting styles with a nice balance of realism and over the top shit
bump
holy shit, is there any more martial arts with this body type?
what movie
Thats Sammo Hung he has his own career almost as big as Jackie.
I think it's wheels on meals.
>almost as big as Jackie
Sammo I love you but you're tripping balls man
Anyone know the name of a martial art movie done between 08-14; guy was dressed similar to pic related and I remember the opening of the movie starts out with him entering a restaurant with a duffel bag and talking to the old woman that owns the place. I think there's a young woman he has a crush on but she works at a different noodle shop; and there's local police, with 5 guys and 1 woman there that he ends up helping out deal with some killings being done by the triad i think.
I remember one of the killers that he fights is a fat guy that wears a red demon mask

One of my favorite fight scenes in any martial arts movie. Music makes it even better.
was it a chinese movie?
is big boss the best bruce lee movie?
>everyone gets fucking murdered
I'm pretty sure it was.
lalo schifrin's theme for enter the dragon
man that is a good fucking theme
>even people who hate capeshit cant stop making threads about it
JUST STOP YOU NIGGERS
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
retard
God bless you OP
Keep going
m.youtube.com
nah i think fist of fury is. big boss is probably my least favourite, but it has a good soundtrack at least.
>every Bruce Lee theme posted but Way of the Dragon
youtube.com
its bretty gud
pretty kino
they should have just left him alone, he never wants any trabble
rank Bruce Lee movies
Fist of Fury>Enter the Dragon>Way of the Dragon>Big Boss
Way of the Dragon is such a fucking weird movie especially with Bruce Lee's rants about tearing town ancient Rome and building Chinese real estate, fucking based and all over the place.
Forgot those plebs, watch Project A
Does it get any better than Jackie vs Benny the Jet?
The answer is no

youtube.com
fist of fury>way of the dragon>enter the dragon>big boss
way of the dragon because of the kino chuck norris fight scene.
The fighting itself was very basic compared to FoF and EtD but Bruce showing his body respect afterward really made that scene
comes out in a week
from which movie?
>tony jaa
>MJW
>tiger chen
KINO hope this comes out in Australia
Wheels on meals and Dragons forever
Police Story 2 is peak Jackino
Literally, there's no better Jackie film out there
Police Story 2 is not even good
this is pretty much the expendables but with actual martial artists its going to be kino
Wheels on Meals is absolute trash except the fight with Benny Urquidez, which is good enough to make the entire movie worth watching
I bet you like Rush Hour and Shanghai Knights you utter pleb faggot
>my cousin's kid got into muay thai
>recommend to my cousin ong bak and tony jaa
>gives me a look of confusion and disgust
fuck. should have never exposed my power level
He's right though, police story 1 kino but 2 sucked so much I didn't even want to go on in the series
Maybe it was a tiny bit too dark, but it was still slightly better than 1.
anyone else think about how we're in the universe where jackie survived all the shit he did and smile
Police Story 3 is fucking great
I bet you don't even like Rumble fag
>the Architect vs Jackie Chan
it was pure fucking kino (but a little slow)
pierce did nothing wrong Jackie was kind of a prick
it being dark wasn't the problem, it was just boring
not enough Jackie in it IMO, but the action is well done and Jackie delivers a pretty solid against-type performance
Sammo Hung's entire career in front of the camera is martial arts with that body type
Nope.
Project A has enough stunts to justify the watch. Wheels on Meals is kind of meh, but the ending fight scene with Benny the Jet is one of the greatest fight scenes of all time.
>need to go to bed
really hope this thread lives for 7 hours
youtube.com
90s kino trailer music
that movie fucking sucked
the one with tao pai pai
How is that huge ass 50 episode Legend of Bruce Lee series on netflix? any good?
sup boys, question time
who are some current day OBSCURE action heroes? Scott Adkins is too popular, but I'm using a picture of him to get attention and because his movies rule.
are there any potential young action stars who maybe don't even have a proper starring role yet out there. Feels like there's barely any action stars now even though the dtv market is huge. we had way more action heroes in the 90s.
Eric Jacobus is great but he barely does movies
man

youtube.com
Scott is the only one who's grinding it out with (for the most part) quality movies, his stuff is pretty much always high end dtv at this point and he has multiple movies coming out every year. The last martial arts movie Michael Jai White did was in 2014, jeez.
Excellent thread OP
Anyone else think Ip Man and Fearless are overrated? I hate the super fast fighting they do that's just beyond unrealistic, they aren't the only ones guilty of it either.
uhh, I liked the dude in blood and bone.
Post underrated jackino
youtu.be
Rush Hour 2
pic related is certified Jackino and one of his few great post 2000s movie
I love it. It's the most oddball out of all Lee's films. It's so violent and mean spirited compared to the other 3 (game of death doesn't count).
Also there was like a ton of deleted scenes and I just hope they could release the film with all the scenes intact but some of them might be lost.
Fist of fury>Big boss>Enter the dragon>Way of the dragon. Big boss doesn't get enough love.
Is this the one about the rich kids playing irl counterstrike with cops?
