No one watched it.
why?
Good thread
I honestly fucking hate Adam Mckay
If you look very carefully at the timeline in The Vice it skipped all of the 1980's when he really was at area 51 / S4 cleaning up a nasty alien foreign relations situation. One of the military sentry's that guarded the saucers did an interview with wendell stevens and named Cheney specifically.
I would like to know more
Depressing film (and dishonest too), blackpilled...
Adam McKay is that one kid in school who thinks he's super smart but people won't tell him he's not because he's rich as all hell and gives people shit for free when they clap at him.
>dude, like Liberals and Leftists, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
>but like, dude, Republicans and Conservatives BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD
>cause, like, the former are just, like, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD and have never done anything wrong, but like, the latter are, sorta, like, BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD cause, you know, they are evil
It's not even a "everyone's the same bruh, all of dem politicians are evil and sheit" type of flick. No, it's just a 2hr movie of "my side never did anything wrong, but the other side is the Antichrist". I could even get behind a "Rebuplicans are evil masterminds" thing, but it's just "dey be stoopid and against progress adn SCIENZCXZE". They even have an After-Credits scene where the Democrat is quiet and supports facts, of which the movie is totes 100% truthful to, while the Republican is a stupid hick who assaults him.
It's like wathing those "I am SILLY" webcomics turned into an Oscar Bait. It's not fun like The Big Short. The Cast can't save it either. It's just a guy's self-masturbatory session caught into tape.
I didn't see the point of making this now. Also way too moralizing and straight up childish. The scene where they're having diner is so fucking terrible.
Great performance from Bale tho
He got drunk and his wife bitched so hard that the invade Iraq./movie/
>defending Neo-Cons
I do too but i was genuinely laughing at the fake credit part and the shakespearan part
That shit was legit funny
I'm not American. I'm not invested in the politics. It's just a bad "story". They both demonize and dumb down the enemy.
>"hurdur they b evil"
>alright, I guess; maybe they're bad-ass, no-morals having warlords or some shit
>"nah, dey b stoopid two; me love SCIENZXCE, dey do not"
That's just boring.
did the movie address pic related?
>hates liberals and the way conservatives are consistently btfo by film and tv
>posts Mad Men gif
????
pick one or the other, beyotch
Dude's like 5'7" though.
>percieving the world in a vs b like /pol/tards do
>he fell for the masquerade
you're on a hypocritical basic bitch reddipol board
>still not getting it
I don't give a fuck about who was wrong, who was right. I've got no horse in the game. That's my problem with the shitty flick; it's just a case of "we gud an smart; dey stoopid and bad", played completely straight, with no self-awareness. Christ, you faggot.
>there is no us vs them
>everybody is wrong
>nothing is true, beautiful or just
you're pissy cuz that's your job?
Great acting performance in a shitty movie.
no it wasn't you dumb fucking pleb
10 years too late
Are you pretending to be retarded?
>I don't give a fuck about who was wrong,
>implying that's not the epitome of zommerist edge
it's nonfiction. people need to know that real life is closer to house of cards than they think. fuck D.C.
It was ok
First movie I've seen in the cinema in a while but there wasn't really any reason to. Bush is hilarious in it but I feel like they paint him too much of a retard. Only watched it for Bale and he was aight.
>flip-flops on his points
>greentexts
I don't care who was wrong because I'm watching a movie, you moron. If I care enough about the subject I'll research it. My point is that the flick was just a masturbatory session where the director paints his side as kind, noble, and intelligent, while the other side as retarded and evil. It's like a kid screaming "I would've won and made everything better, but this dumb guy cheated and is a poopoohead". Christ.
>non-fiction
>pieces of entertainment based on real people and events are always 100% truthful and not biased in any way
>If I care enough about the subject I'll research it. My point is that the flick was just a masturbatory session where the director paints his side as kind, noble, and intelligent, while the other side as retarded and evil.
>everybody is wrong/it doesn't matter who's right
>implying I am not coherent as fuck while you circlejerk in relativism
got sick of Bale constantly talking out the side of his mouth
I'm not debating about relativism you dumb fuck. It could've been a GI Joe film following fucking Destro and I still would've said the same thing. Look beyond your politics you discord tranny.
>pieces of entertainment based on real people and events are always 100% truthful and not biased in any way
so what? stop pretending you give a fuck. everything is biased you middle school nigger, you probably just learned that word yesterday.
Its not even that biased dude you're just reading into it
>watches a movies about politics
>whines about politics in that movie
Hahaha Bale thought getting Diabetes would get him an Oscar. Lol when people pointed out all he does is change his appearance and barely changed his acting stylr
So was he really a horrendous orator or that was a one-off from having heart burn or something?
Lefties in the 2000s got so high off of criticizing the worst administration in American history that they became super-smug and insistent that their own ideas were always 100% correct and anyone opposed to them was a dumb neoconservative redneck, and the backlash to that smugness is ultimately how Trump came about.
This movie is a throwback to that time and mindset. Like if the 2006 writing staff from The Daily Show got together for a reunion and a bunch of them decided to try and make Oscarbait.
>anyone opposed to them was a dumb neoconservative redneck
>we elected a buffon to show them how wrong they are hehe
>take that, smug leftists!
