cope

i liked it more then i thought i would
although a little annoyed that kingpin o all people gets to kill a spidey
im not sure the people in charge know a single thing about the kingpin character.

Indeed. Best capeshit since Winter Soldier

cape

Yeah it was fucking great. Breath of fresh air from both its studio and genre.

cant wait for the sequel where Miles will fuck Gwen and all the white boys will cry

What the fuck is up danger!

the story was pretty mediocre
the animation was top quality

I agree. Absolutely deserved best Animated Film award Liv made me hard.
Yeah, it was a little dumb. He did have the help of el goblino to be fair. There's not much to know to really understand kingpin though. He's got everyone in his pockets, and he risks the city for selfish reasons, and blames Spidey for the past. I felt like it was established and explained without wasting too much screentime, and having someone like doc oc assembling villains would feel too stale so soon after the game about the Sinister Six. Miles needed an easy target for his first victory too.

It looked nice but narrative wise it was pretty one-dimensional

Yeah, honestly I started out skeptical and got more and more interested as trailers came out. The movie could get by on its energy alone.

Yes, it was a great movie, I only hope the home version has a smoother framerate. It looked good on the big screen, but I fear at home, like the trailers, it will looks stuttered.

probably the most overrated animated movie of all time. Horrible framerate, lazy background animation, unaesthetically inconsistent character design and artstyles, mediocre voice acting and paint by numbers story.
No wonder it flopped horribly in Japan

if /tvpol/ hates miles for being black and being pushed on gwenn

then whoooa boy. they better get a load of adult miles. you could quite literally picture the writer watching a 24/7 stream of BLACKED videos while writing the comics

>$1m opening weekend

It's intended and you won't notice it after a few minutes.

Poor guy hasn't even seen it.

>Ayy, ayy, ayy, ayy (ooh)

Grow up, incel

I bought into the hype until I saw it for myself, it's either the Sony shill force praising it to high heavens or "woke" kids who think it's progressive, I see no other way for anyone to consider it anything but mediocre. The animation seems like there was effort behind it but that's not good enough to salvage a movie, Thief and the Cobbler will never be surpassed when it comes to animation yet it's still not a good movie.

They put too much focus on the animation and the story felt like a filler episode rather than a movie. What's the point of the other Spider-people actually?

Peni Parker

Didn't really care for it. obviously animaiton is gorgeous but it often felt too tryhard, like the purpose of a movie was to show a great number of extreme angles rather than for those angles to serve a purpose. Didn't care about the text effects like "Wham!" and "Bam!" either.
Story was obviously abysmal, i mean at the end of the day it was about extreme dangers of inserting a flash drive. The "training" was was bizarre: they've spent 2/3 of the movie going on PLEASE TEACH ME SPIDERMAN only for mc to not need teaching at the end of the day. Which is absolutely fine considering that other spideys i've seen were self-taught but the sheer amount of time spent on the whole issue wasn't justified. The end message of "there is a spiderman inside you", what the fuck? With batman it made sense, it was about a dude with gadgets doing "what is right" but morales felt like spiderman only after all of his powers awakened so what he said made zero sense. The MJ speech and overall message felt like religion light, it was embarrassing. I guess the only thing that keeps Jesus from being hip is that his powers are from the support tree. Also aunt may was too quirky for someone who lost her beloved nephew just a few days ago
And i'm not even going into autismo territory like porker not soloing everyone and five spidey in the house being incapable of doing what single spidey can usually handle. And stuff like "my brother was shot in the back... CLEARLY it was spiderman's doing, i mean isn't this how he usually operates" and sheer ease with which new spiderman was accepted, like yep there was a guy in a suite for ten years but now there is another guy, makes sense.

Liked doc oc and her fight, gwen was curvy, always appreciated.

I always find it funny that they make a black spider man but his love interests are always white. Like they are admitting that black women are ugly.

why no big tiddy spider female
