I hope to all fuck endgame delivers on this some how. Strange not just killing thanos and just giving up is so shit. It better be something like, the avengers having all 6 stones. Defeating Thanos would have resulted in that. A gauntlet with 4 in it, strange and vision having one. Then what? What happens in this timeline? Is this truly the peaceful timeline that strange wanted? Strange returns to earth, stops wanda from destroying the mind stone....and wtf do they do?

If Thanos who is completely invincible to physical, mental and time based attacks with the gauntlet gets overpowered by the Avengers I'm gonna spoil the shit out of endgame a week before release. I'm gonna wait for a mass shooting and spoil it live on CNN.

Supposedly Strange's plan is to remove the threat of the infinity stones. If Thanos is killed, someone else will eventually use the stones.

Nerfed by the plot. Same reason why The Flash can run at the speed of light yet can be defeated by ordinary humans with weapons.

Captain Fungus will say “Avengers Assemble” and deliver the final blow. Audience will be pissed but it won’t matter because they paid for a ticket already.

The real question is why did Strange ask Tony to turn the ship around and go back to earth when he can easily open a portal from anywhere to anywhere instantly and could have gone back to earth in one second?

And that leads into the next real question, the big one; since Strange can open a portal from anywhere to anywhere at any time why didn't he open a portal to earth and bring ALL the Avengers to Titan to help with the Thanos ambush? He could have done it super easily.

The answer is powers like instantaneous travel and portals to anywhere are impossible to write around and create situations with tension, so the writers just pretended he couldn't do that and hoped you wouldn't notice.

The sling ring is never shown to have intergalatic travel. It seems very much tied to a distance of a planet. 4000 miles is different than literally lightyears. You can't jump from one planet to another. The Space stone can tho.

Then they fight each other to make a wish, tony wins and makes humans have no free will and he is the ruler of earth because he knows best and becomes Darkseid
