Just got put on Prozac after years of depersonalization/derealization, high anxiety, and depression.
Kinos for this feel?

Oh i've been on DP DR for like 8 years now. Ive gotten used to it. Hope prozac works for you user
tony soprano loves prozac
Thank you, fren. Same here as far as DP/DR. I have gotten mostly used to it, but sometimes I have huge existential crises when I know I'm responsible for something at that time and it gives me crippling panic attacks. I hope you feel okay, user
>DP DR
Sounds like a porno
>depersonalization/derealization
Prozac and antidepressants in general are not known to help with that. It could help with anxiety.
DONT TAKE SSRII THEY ARE THE DEVIL YOUR DICK WILL GO LIMP PERMANENTLY AND YOUR SIUICIDAL THOUGHTS SMIHGT GET WORSE THAT IS A SIDE AFFECT OF ANTIDEPPRESSANTS
I was thinking DPRK
Yeah, what I'm thinking though is that my DP/DR is linked heavily to my underlying anxiety.
Yeah, I was just reading about the impotence. I genuinely hope it doesn't happen to me, but I gotta try out the meds for a little bit.
Give it some days OP. Enjoy seeing colors again, enjoy sleeping on command, enjoy the brain zaps ( I like the feeling) and enjoy intense faps (takes a bit of work but when it comes it's strong)
I thought this was a close-up shot from The Professional when he pops open his pillcase with that weird insect sound effect
You've found relief with SSRI's?
>Reason One: A study in the Journal of the American Medical Association says that SSRI's like Paxil and Prozac are no more effective in treating depression than a placebo pill. That means they are 33 per cent effective, which is the percent of patients who will respond well to a sugar pill. The article goes on to say that although SSRI's are effective to some degree in treating severe depression they don't have any effect on the routine type of depressions they are most often used to treat. The take-home message is—don't take SSRI's if you have normal, mild, or routine depression. It's a waste of money, and the drugs have serious side-effects including loss of sexual drive.
I'm taking it more for my anxiety than anything. If I don't finally get this in check after years, I don't know what I'll do.
I enjoyed it when I was on them, prozac.
It helped me out a lot. Stopping sucked and I pretty much fell into the same hole and patterns but I'm ok now
>SSRIIs
Oh no no
I used to have depersonalization, I stopped smoking weed and drinking and started exercising and it went away. Still have some low level depression and anxiety but it's manageable and i'm used to it.
I take SNRIs for panic disorder, best decision I've ever made, made me feel way better. It's not a magic pill though, the anxiety will always be there waiting to strike again.
Depersonalization/Derealization is fucking terrible though, wish you the best OP.

OH NO
I've seen most of these are not permanent, but mainly when starting.
Also, I barely have a sex drive as it is, so that's not a huge issue.
If it makes me take longer to orgasm, that's a blessing to me desu
