Time is predestined in the HP universe. You cant actually change anything. Since Sirius died and nobody saved him, it would be impossible for anyone to alter that.
>Inb4 brainlets cant comprehend closed causality loops
Why didn't Dumbledore use a time turner to go back and stop the curse on his hand?
"No!"
>t. brainlet
they can go back and save a damn bird after it's been decapitated but can't tell sirius they just came back using a time turner and he died so he should fuck off to America for a while
>Muh interstellar bookshelf triggered meeee so unrealistic hurr
The bird never died. They were always there to rescue it. Can't change history.
Why didn't he use a "time-turner" to go back and stop J. K. Rowling from producing one of the dullest franchises in the history of movie franchises. Seriously each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody, just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.
based
Did you even watch the movie retard? It’s literally so simple that kids can understand it, but apparently you can’t
you haven't explained why they couldn't tell sirius.
>bad things happen to wizards the mess with time
worse things than dying apparently
Already explained twice you retard. See
you can though. rowling is a hack and you're an idiot for defending her.
>what is the plot of Cursed Child
Im not defending her. All time travel movies that involve causality loops are like this. Like it or not its not a plothole. Thats the very nature of these time travel movies. Timecrimes, interstellar, time travellers wife etc.
There was a 0% chance Harry wouldn't have immediately opened his communication mirror present. As a miserable kid who never received any gifts, he would tear that shit open posthaste. The last Sirius gift he'd gotten was a fucking Firebolt, after all.
Beyond that, why wouldn't Sirius ask him to use the mirror instead of Floo powder communication? There's so many plotholes leading up to Sirius' death.
Why didn't Harry use the time-turner to go back in time before he marries Ginny and get with Hermione instead?
Why didn't they just ban assault wands?
This would be fine if it weren't for
go to bed Harold, it's already 9.
Never read it. Is the cursed child even part of the movie canon?
this has to be bait
>Should
Because then you get the cursed child
>Tolkein
>Shit-tier
>Catch-22
>Low-tier
both should be moved up two spots
