Hannibal was Kino as fuck.
I can’t actually believe it aired on a major Broadcast network.
It was similar quality to a top notch show from HBO or Showtime or Starz.
On Amazon Prime you can watch Patriot.
First season is excellent, haven’t watched the second season yet, because it seems like a continuation of season 1, and it’d been a while since I’ve seen season 1 so I want to rewatch.

TV shows don't have good dialogue anymore. They have good "writing" as in use of symbolism and shit, but the dialogue these days is trash and I don't think it'll ever be good again cause of all the demographics they need to hit with the same product.

The Good Doctor is the best medical drama since House if that's a genre you enjoy.
The Expanse is the best ongoing show in recent years. The Magicians is also really neat if you can tolerate a moderate amount of gay and feminist stuff, personally I find it fitting well with how broken the whole cast is.

This guys recs, especially The Young Pope and Vice Principals. Lodge 49 was pretty fun if you like Thomas Pynchon/stoner comedy similar to The Big Lebowski.
Not sure how recent but Matthew Wiener (Mad Men creators) show The Romanoffs was pretty excellent. Couple of spotty episodes but that last one is pure gold and pissed off some ppl.
