Well that's the thing, China movies usually always do better than foreign films, The Wandering Earth has made like 600 million there. There are some other Chinese movies coming out soon, but not sure how popular they'll be. Alita is one of not many American movies to get an extension, it happens like Bumblebee and Aquaman, but it's actually not often. With CM dropping revenue every day there now, less than Black Panther, I really doubt it will make more than 130 million there and probably won't get an extension, BP didn't. The government only does it when there's demand for the film. China will probably give Alita another 6 to 7 million over the course of the week.

It's a quality meme for sure, but the I wouldn't have played that game even in the SNES era. A proper Alita vidya game would half a dating sim/choose your own adventure where you need to keep on balancing how much Hugo and Ido like you, and half a top down twin stick racing/fighting game with controls are just as responsive for Motorball matches as they are for one on one boss fights.
