After Endgame I’m pretty much done with the MCU. Unless people flip their shit over Spiderman 2 and how great it is I’m not gonna bother seeing it.

same, in fact i'm done with hollywood, when was the last time a good movie was released.

You're going to watch Far From Home and whatever else come out after. You're too deep into it now to withdraw.

I think that both of you are going to watch Spider-Man: Far From Home, Guardians 3, The Eternals, Black Panther 2, Captain Marvel 2 and Black Widow.

>winter soldier below black panther
I see you Jamal.

Me too. Endgame feels like a perfect jumping off point

>iron man 3
>shit tier
opinion discarded

Yeah I already stopped watching these movies. I only saw Strange and GOTG 2 on my shitty pc. Haven't seen Ant Man 2, Spiderman 1 or Captain Marvel and I can't be bothered. Endgame and then I'm out

Me too. I would have seen Gunn's GOTG Vol. 3, though.

I mean they literally put "end" in the title. Who am I to argue? Especially with shit I care nothing about like "The Eternals" coming out.
I'll still watch the Spider-Mans because the first one was genuinely fun and had an emotional core, reminded me of what I thought these movies would be after watching the first Iron Man. They'll probably fuck it up though.

she cute

Shittiest of tastes.

yeah despite a lot of awkward, stilted expository dialog shoved into the first GotG it still wound up being enjoyable with good humor and a character-driven narrative.

Can't stand Nebula though.

>After (?) I’m pretty much done with the MCU.

I haven't seen Captain Marvel and probably won't see Endgame. Not for any political reasons I'm just kind of exhausted by the MCU.

I was a true believer and saw the first 20 movies in theaters so they were clearly doing something right but I feel like the formula is wearing thin

Why even watch Endgame? Infinity war had the best ending for the MCU.

I'm completely in agreements with you.

I don't care about Captain Marvel (nor the controversies around the movie) and I'm not too thrilled with her taking over the universe. Endgame will be a perfect point to jump out of the wagon and give closures to characters I've been following for years. I'll still follow Spider-Man when a new movie comes out because I like him but I'm completely indifferent with everything else they have announced.

You are going to quit with a mouth full of femmie poo? If you can't do End Game in 5 weeks after all this End of the world hoopla, Eek sad excuse.
I'm just going to half half a deviled egg here and skip steaks. Maybe a subway 6" on my way home? I hope I don't get Jussie'd. Oh wait I would have to call and make all that shit up to the cops... damn you Jussie

>Unless people flip their shit over Spiderman 2 and how great it is I’m not gonna bother seeing it.

You are already lost, my brother. This is how the Marketers win. People will lose their shit over anything, and there will always be paid shills claiming the newest film is the "best yet" or "best ever".

Young/stupid people will "lose their shit" over that pull-the-quarter-from-behind-your-ear magic trick. Why would you base your interest in what the Window-Lickers of the world lose their shit over? THIS is how they manipulate the public, it is Marketing 101.

Be strong, go with your gut, and if something does not interest you, move on.

By all means, do that. It’s not like you’re forced to see these films. I’m even with you on the tired and safe capeshit formula. I don’t know if it’s my negative attitude with modern cinema, but besides Infinity War, not many capefilms have been entertaining to sit through.

What the fuck do you think you'll get out of Endgame? Infinity war had perfect closure (even better would be if even Thanos would fall into dust), Avengers lost, they lost due to their own actions, and caused death of half of universe.
All they have left is time travel faggotry, which is the lowest of storytelling cop outs ever created.

>All they have left is time travel faggotry, which is the lowest of storytelling cop outs ever created.
So it’s just like the comicbooks.

>Age of Ultron
>shit

>All they have left is time travel faggotry, which is the lowest of storytelling cop outs ever created.
B-but user! The bad guy can't win!

I'll probably watch every Spider-Man film till the end of time. Only Superhero worth watching on cinema. Daredevil needs a TV revival though.

It really depends on what they plan to do with it. On the slate right now:
>Far From Home
Homecoming sucked, with the best part being the Vulture who isn't in this one. Mysterio might be a fun character like Vulture was but probably not. Gonna pass.
>Black Widow
I mean, maybe. They've talked about giving her a solo film for a while so they might have some good ideas. It's a different kind of character where she's a spy, so there's fun stuff they can do with it.
>GotG 3
2 was disappointing (even though Kurt Russell was good in it) so I dunno. They're still using Gunn's script.
>The Eternals
Marvel movies seem to be better the more obscure the characters are. This probably has the most potential to be good.
>Black Panther 2
Eh. Pass.
>Shang-Chi
They want to be able to say "we got the first ASIAN SUPERHERO MOVIE." I get it. Again, potential to be good because obscure.
>Doctor Strange 2
Pass.
>Blade
They're talking with Wesley Snipes about reprising the role. Possibly interesting. And it wouldn't be like other Marvel movies given the subject.
>Overall
I've said in the past "I'M DONE AFTER ENDGAME" and I hear a lot of others saying that. I think people just want closure. They just want to put an end on a chapter of their lives. But I'll give the movies a shot on an individual basis.

I have seen every MCU and I will continue to.

I just haven't PAID to see one since Iron Man 1

>Age of Ultron
>Tony Starks fucks up and ruins everything
>attempts damage control
>Tony Stark does the EXACTLY the same fuck up as before, now with assistance of Banner

Also his actions in the AoU is exactly what got half of universe killed.

Agreed.
Just watched Homecoming the other day and that pretentious mystery meat "SJW-MJ" was hate on first sight.
The race mixing "baddie" was strike two.

Thank god for streaming sites.
Without scrolling over the (((shitty))) parts I wouldn´t have made it through.
Don´t need another one of those, not even for free.

>Infinity war had perfect closure
Yap, I want to see how badly they fuck it up.

And suddenly I feel less alone in this world. From the Thanos turning into dust idea to the sheer contempt any time-travel shenanigans should inspire (because it's really just a way to indicate the writers have wrote themselves into a corner), I completely agree.
Thank you, based user. Ininfinty War should have been the end.

I stopped watching this shit 6 years ago...

>after the next movie, I’m done with the MCU
>i mean, unless everyone says the new Spider-Man is really good

>After Endgame I’m pretty much done with the MCU
>having any faith whatsoever in capeshit

Attached: 1552135346346.gif (380x285, 1.97M)

I’m watching Spider-Man because I love Tom Holland, I wish Zendaya would be outed as the racist cunt she is and get fired, her shit character ruins those films.

Drop Black Panther to low tier, brownie points don’t work here

>sheer contempt any time-travel shenanigans should inspire
Once you introduce this in any given universe, you have basically took all tension and stake out of that universe.

Plus it's incredibly hard to pull-off properly and not do it by creating more little plot holes than you'd solve. And yeah, you're right, time-travel is akin to being God Mode : there are no stakes anymore.
You can just retcon whatever you want to fit your current narrative.
It's really, really always just a clear sign that the writer either didn't think it through or wrote themselves into a corner for the sake of a cool twist (like killing off half of your heroes).
I realized this shit when I was barely 12 readinh Harry Potter n°3
> Hermione can time travel to take more classes at once
> Surprisingly, this proves very convenient to fix everything at the end of the novel
> But then why not just fucking time travel all the way back to when Potter's parents were killed and warn them, or even fucking murder Voldemort in the crib
Time Travel is bullshit lazy writing, unless maybe - maybe - you pull it off like early Dr Who : a tourist in time and space.

Why aren't you done with it now? The ending of Infinity War was pretty good for the whole series. Sure, Spider-Man died, but a lot of the main characters made it and the villain retired.

>brownie points
>brownie
Hehmha good one.

Considering that Disney didn't even need time travel to retcon Fury losing his eye and America being the first Avenger, flashback was enough, this can potentially be TLJ levels of bad.

see you in whatever MCU movie comes after endgame's threads lmao

I still plan to see GotG 3 should it be made, tough I doubt by now that it'll be as entertaining as the two before now that Gunn is gone.
Otherwise I don't see anyhting that might interest me anymore, especially since the last handful of movies bar Ant-Man 2 simply bored me. Maybe it's really just Marvel fatigue, maybe enough it enough. I do hope that Endgame will be a good endpoint tough.

I don't think they can make a film that is good enough to keep me interested in what is coming next. So, it's over for me.
If it's a final episode, good. It's over for me too.
If it's shit, then the Avengers story ended with Thanos snapping his fingers and enjoying the rest of his life looking at the sunset.
It's funny how two films from different franchises (Marvel and Star Wars) from the same company that are "the final episode" are treated so differenly. I'm interested in Endgame just to see how they're going to do it, but I couldn't care less about Star Wars IX.

Another user here.
I hate how Disney created the perfect final (Infinite War) only to shit all over it on Endgame. It's sad that the films are going to suffer the same fate of the comics: Retcons, time travels and all types of cheap tricks to keep the story going on forever.

>Black Panther
>Mid Tier
I think you need to watch it again. In a decade Black Panther will be considered one of the most embarrassing movies ever made

pretty much the same. my excitement for endgame is low but I'll still watch it. i think most of us should get off the ride. let the younger generation enjoy these things but that wont be the case i believe.
this probably happened with the generation before they had to stop consuming capeshit at some point

The infinity gauntlet itself is just impossible to deal with. iirc in the comics Thanos loses becasue he didn't pay attention to a halfdead nebula who manages to steal the gauntlet of him.

I would put Infinite War and the First Iron Man on God tier, Iron Man 2 on top tier and everything else on shit tier.

Same. It’s been a fun ride. Like they say. “All good things must come to an end.”

>after this one I'm done

just be done now, they suck anyway.

Scarlett is a nudist

Don't quit on Cameron though.

>thor
>iron man 3
oh look a gay

AoU is a terrible movie my man I’m not even trying to be a dick here. That movie killer love of the MCU till Civil War fixed it.

agree with you but same thing with civil war dude. you just realize its just a bunch of dudes dressing up and fighting with no stakes just because. black panther was based in that movie though.

>Liking the first Thor

And just like that, your opinions are dismissed

fuck off and take your sjw overlord with you

BP is fine, it felt cheap and has bad action scenes but it’s like a Magic African Mission Impossible movie which is neat.

Also people freak out about Wakanda but we see like what, one set of a street? I wanted world building, if you’re going to make me care.

That list of tiers is trash though

If you are over 12 and watch super hero movies you got problems and need to grow up

Imagine being both capeshit fan and having shit taste

>after the cinders stop glowing, I'm pretty much going to stop throwing gas on this dumpster fire
...okay.

You do know that Far From Home is the last one for like, years?

What did he mean by this.
