Hey guys, so Im an assistant manager at a movie theater. I know lots of people are saying that Disney is buying out theaters for Captain Marvel to inflate it's box office. Im here to say, it's true. I worked about a 9 shift from 9am (opened at 10) to 6:30pm. I over saw 6 showings of Captain Marvel. We had multiple theaters show the movie to under 10 people. This is normal for a monday and early showings. The weird thing was, I did indeed have someone buy over 500 tickets for showings at a future date. He said it was for a school field trip and paid in cash. I immediately started talking to him about our return policy and even asked to see an ID which I photo copied and took a picture of with my phone. He didn't pay child prices, because it's not our policy to sell advance tickets at child or senior discount, so he paid full price for all of them.

I don't know what's going on, but I thought you'd all like to know, that this is is happening. I had to tell my boss we have over 5 grand in cash on a monday at 4pm when he came in. He called bullshit on me, and I showed in the safe and we readied it for a deposit immediately. My boss looks at ticket sales for the next weekend, as we now have 500 less tickets for a friday and see's we're down over 1000 tickets total. My boss texts the other asst. manager said, they tell him almost the same story happened to them yesterday. The deposit was actually in our lock box in the safe, not deposited since it was sunday. Over 10 grand in cash from mass pre-sale tickets. I don't know what to make of it.

Imagine writing all of that to peddle fake news about a first female lead superhero movie, seriously reavalute your life OP

>first female lead superhero
work on the b8

You have my attention. Go on

yeah, and then post it on a polynesian stick and poke tattoo fetishist geocities nostalgia discussion board

Nothing else to say now, Im not gonna post info on the person that did this just yet. Ive collected information and do want to go to the news. If he tries to get a return on those tickets or they actually have a field trip, this is a non-issue. If 1000 seats bought and paid for stay empty? Im gonna find out whats up.

Thanks for giving us the details Robert.

Have sex incel! Reeeeeeeeeeee.

Ahem.

Thanks for coming forward with this Info user. You are now part of the resistance. Hold this point and await further instruction.

It's good that you got his ID. You might have to testify in a fraud case or class action. Or you could sell your story to Breitbart/Fox.

Becareful, man. We don't joke about Mickey Mossad for nothing.

If the mouse is really doing this shit it's potentially very illegal. It would bump their stock price for example, and there are big tyme regulations against that conduct.

would this not be money laundering and/or tax evasion?

> movies frequently use an amount equal to 100% of the actual production budget to market
> instead of advertising, just use the 100% of the advertising budget to buy tickets to the movie itself
> movie is instantly in profit
> continue for infinite movies
bravo disney jews

Pic related is my local Sacramento Kinoplex that only plays independent features. Your story is highly suspect

you are really dumb

I'm pretty sure a guy trying to be anonymous about possible shady corporate dealings at the movie theater he's assistant manager at wouldn't actually post a picture of the movie theater he's assistant manager at. Citation still needed though.

yea, no, this is it, I just googled a pic of a theater, Im not posting the one I work at.

Take video of empty theaters and pictures of the reserved seat diagram with all the missed bookings.
Nobody can be believed if they don't do this much.

It'd be this friday, but I will do this if the showings remain empty.

>dead baby in the front yard
do people really do this?

Does your kinoplex not do school events or something that this is shocking to you? We get school groups book an entire show during the weekdays all the time. It's nothing out of the ordinary.

If they don't show up for their screening and don't ask for the money back, then this isn't even worth discussing.
